People like to moan about Crofty but I remember the dark days of James Allen and even Brundle being the main commentator. It’s a tough gig and all a bit ‘careful what you wish for’ imo as it could very easily be much worse

Nothing compares to Murray and James Hunt. One was a lunatic and the other was dry as fuck while at the same time happy to call out other drivers he thought were cunts (Ricardo Patrese being the main victim as Hunt blamed him for Ronnie Peterson getting killed)
