Exactly. This is what I was trying to say. He was only “alongside” as he was so deep into 1 with no intention of making 2. His only desire was to force Lewis off the road at best or “fuck it” and cause a collision at worst.Thing is Max was so far on the inside he had a stupidly tight line into turn two so would have either had to really slow down (which he doesn’t do) or would have just understeered into Lewis anyway.
Much like at Monza last year, there wasn’t an overtaking opportunity. It only looked like there was one by going so deep into the first turn that he had no way of making the second.
