He strikes again!

Who Massa?

I would say it was harsh but it feels like every single bit of contact is punished this season and racing incidents don't exist anymore

Rowan Atkinson is funny even when he's not trying. Well done that man.

Atkinson's reaction was hilarious.

My thoughts on the Massa/Hamilton collision are that it was possibly the worst stewards decision of the year!

I have been quite critical of him this year and with good reason. His head is clearly not right at the minute and he and other drivers have suffered from him making bad decisions in a large majority of GPs this year.

With regards to the incident, he was too far back to try and make that pass stick. His front right wheel collided with Massa's rear left wheel. How anyone can consider that as being alongside is baffling to me. He may have been almost alongside before rhe braking zone but once they had braked it was clear he was too far back.

Yes he was up the inside but you can't just keep throwing your car up the inside and hoping that the other driver just gets out of the way for you. That's not proper racing it's suicide. It reminded me of Senna chucking it into the side of Prost at Suzuka to win the championship. No chance of making it stick.

You also have to consider Massa's POV. The section starting at Turn 5 is quite clearly a one car line through that entire section. If Massa had backed out of the apex then he would have been forced wide at the exit and would have been off the track going round to Turn 6 as it's another left hander.

Massa had every right to turn in as he was clearly ahead going into the apex. He knew where Lewis was as he looked in his mirrors so wouldn't have turned in expexcting Lewis was going to risk chucking it up the inside, even with their history and knowing Lewis as he does.

I wasn't surprisd to see him going straight to the stewards afterwards. I would have been absolutely seething. Hamilton can't keep throwing it up the inside of cars from behind and hoping it sticks. It's dangerous driving IMO which he clearly hasn't learned from this season, even after several penalties, and the stewards need to do something about it really.

I wonder if Johnny Herbert being a steward for this race had any bearing on their leniency towards Hamilton? I bet the Horse Whisperer will have somehing to say about it certainly!!

Johnny has been a steward a few times this season, I'll try and see if he was the drivers representative on any of the other races in which Lewis has been penalised.

Nevertheless, a superbly boring race.

Yeah. A good track but an oddly dull race.

Australia is his only other gig.

Here's a list of driver stewards at each race:

India - Johnny Herbert
Korea - Martin Donnelly
Japan - Alan Jones
Singapore - Heinz-Harald Frentzen
Italy - Derek Daly
Belgium - Nigel Mansell
Hungary - Allan McNish
Germany - Tom Kristensen
Great Britain - Nigel Mansell
Europe - Heinz-Harald Frentzen
Canada - Emerson Fittipaldi
Monaco - Allan McNish
Spain - Mark Blundell
Turkey - Derek Warwick
China - Emanuele Pirro
Malaysia - Emanuele Pirro
Australia - Johnny Herbert

Also Schumi is starting to look a bit tasty again. If Mercedes can make big strides over the winter then he could be getting podiums next year. The man is a winner and he won't stop until he is back on top (or someone tells him he has to stop).

Great to see Schumi back towards his best, I really like him now.

The prospect of him and Alonso going wheel to wheel again with Hamilton, Vettel and Button is mouth watering.

Name changes on the horizon;

Virgin to become Marussia
Renault to become Lotus
Lotus to become Caterham

It's not free of charge to all Sky customers like that article states.

You need to have either Sky Sports (you get the SD channel) or the HD pack (get it in HD). If you have neither then you won't get it.

Yup, that article got my hopes up!

Last race of the season, it seems a bit closer between the top 3 but rain is predicted for tomorrow.

Hoping for a great race. Hilarious interview with ronaldo and his son. BBC anchor asked young Alex for his thoughts. The boy turned to his dad, the rotund ex football star and said "can we go home now?"
Great stuff.

Incredible pass, the man is a genius.

The pass back was shit hot too. I could watch button and sponsor all day. Great drivers.

Ferrari is shit on hard tyres and he's got DRS. Just another standard pass that he should be making in the situation.

Better than watching Hamilton crashing into every ferrari he tries to pass.
