The F1 Thread

Lewis would have been in a great position without the accident, which he has taken the blame for.

I don't feel like digging through the thread, pardon if this is a repost...

Yep they're pretty quick!

Don't know if anyone else watches these pitlane extras from Ted Kravitz on the BBC site but they are almost always excellent and full of little snippets of info:

There's also a superbly opinionated Eddie Irvine interview at the end, as usual! Fantastic sign-off from Ted too :icon_lol:

Haha brilliant. Eddie is an absolute tool.

I love Ted. He's the only bloke from the BBC I'd be gutted to lose when it goes over to Sky.

Massa wasn't too happy about it either:

I dont blame him. Recently Hamilton has been driving like he was a rookie not a former champion. Soon, some-one will be seriously hurt unless Hamilton starts racing properly again.

Nah, saw way worse in touring cars in my time than that little display. ;)

Hamilton got his turn in slightly wrong with the Ferrari in front and while it forced Massa to pit it was hardly malicious despite the Brazillian's tantrum. It will be interesting to see if Massa's little stunt makes Hamilton think twice in future before grappling positions with him.

As for driving like a rookie, a certain multi-world champion made a bit of a hash with knowing where the front of his car was as well in the same race and the champion-elect bumped his nose into the position flag in the parc ferme.

Hamilton and Massa do seem to be making a habit of get into difficult situations with each other. Hamilton was a little impatient, but it is called motor racing, and Hamilton certainly gives everything, and just occasionally he does take risks that maybe he should not take.

Congratulations to Seb, faultless driving all season.

Brilliant drives from Jenson and Fernando again. Those three are on a different level to everybody else right now. Impeccable levels of consistency.

I totally agree Nando, though I do think Hamilton has the ability to be up there with them, but he makes too many rash decisions.

Bloody hell Lewis, cheer up!

Clearly not getting over excited about a Pole when it no longer matters.

Been a massively frustrating season for him and a lot of lessons to be learnt....he might let the guard down if he wins though and there will be an almighty release of pressure from him
