Holy Christ. That second Hamilton lap in Q3 is utterly insane.

Pulled that out after almost binning it in Q2 as well. Looked nailed on Bottas was taking pole there but both of Hamilton's laps in Q3 were ridiculous.

Over a second ahead of 3rd place. Merc back to taking the piss...shocking both Red Bull and Ferrari haven't been able to close the gap on them again.

On Red Bull - Alex Albon will be getting very nervous.

That Red Bull is by all accounts built for Max's distinctive driving style and then is very peaky aerodynamically - anybody else that isn't one of the very, very best isn't going to be able to match him. It's an absolute hiding to nothing of a role at the moment.

Ferrari have already written off the next two years, their own fault for their dodgy dealings with the engine.

It isn't going to be much of a spectacle until 2022.

There will be plenty to watch. Some fascinating midfield stuff. The rebirth of McLaren as a decent force. Racing point looking very good (who knew Stroll wasn’t average at best?). The development of Russell who is wringing the neck out of a poor Williams. Ferrari are the issue. That car is an utter dog.

Stroll is average at best. Tracing Point's approach to it is a threat to the whole integrity of the sport.

I'm delighted for Russell, but he's stuck there again until 2022. What a waste.
