The F1 Thread

Just do quali on full wets and let them change tyres on the grid tomorrow. Unless it becomes aquaplane central then it should be driveable. Plus Lewis is king in the wet.

Russell is special. Needs to get out of that dog.

Best drivers always come the fore in the rain.

Supreme from Lewis. Not a single mistake in some very tricky conditions. Owned that track

It's an odd feeling. As a younger man I fucking loved Senna. He was my hero. I look at it now and think Lewis is even better. Michael is in the conversation as well, but they are easily the best three I have ever seen. Obvs I didn't see Fangio, Clarke, Rindt.

A other great last lap.

Lando again.

Turgid race in the main, but a great last five.

Renault protest legality of Racing Point car.

Seems basically copying the 2019 Merc is annoying them

Obviously Renault not happy that Red Bull are the biggest bitches of the Pit Lane

It's going to drag on a bit

"Stewards say they want to look at the front and rear brake ducts of the 2019 Mercedes. This will take some time and the hearing into the legality of the Racing Point has been deferred to an unspecified later date"

I can understand it to a degree, but they should focus on their own issues - if it's overheating there it's going to be a whole world of pain if we do end up going out to the far east.

Don’t merc usually have overheating issues in Austria?
