Hartley out of Quali. He is ok but his car is simply to messed up to fix in time. Gasly caught up in this as well as the FIA have said he can only take part if Toro Rosso replace all the suspension parts on his car.
Vettel missed a lot of Q3 due to a pain in the neck and less than hour before Quali he is still having treatment on that

Another fuck up by Merc though. They should have pitted Bottas under the first safety car. He would have won the race then and even though Lewis would have only been 3rd, it would have actually been better for him for Vettel to be 2nd.
Shit start by Lewis as well but he showed he had the pace. For a race we were told ould be another dullfest, it was pretty decent.
Away from F1 and over to F2 and some top work from this driver...

Bottas was second at the time though? So if he had pitted he would have come out behind Vettel and probably have stopped Lewis getting second.
Intersting to see the Ferrari junior team have form for deliberate crashing too..

Wow. What a day. Our seats on Stowe corner were brilliant, and virtually every overtake of the stunning Lewis comeback was right in front of us. You just cannot appreciate how quickly they chuck the cars into Stowe on the telly - its insane. Lewis must have enjoyed that corner because he and Seb pulled off the track at Stowe on the warm down lap to get closer to the fans.
Red Arrows display before the start was about forty minutes long and superb as well. We could have got on the track afterward but we needed to head out to pick up my brother so we went back to the park and ride to Towcester races (I recommend this as the queues to get out of the circuit car parks were absolutely stupid).
We are DEFINITELY going again. It was brilliant. Pint - £5.50. Most food items around £8 and up. Had to buy a cap as it was roasting. Went for a nice Aryton Senna one for £30. Merc Lewis Hamilton caps were £45. The Merc polo shirts with all the adverts were £95!!!!! Owwww.
I may be just a touch sunburnt. I am glowing like the ready brek kid.

About 11 there was a great warm up race with F1 cars from 1967 to 1987 (ish)
That was really good. The Fly Saudia Williams cars of the Keke Rosberg era OWNED it and they were so loud.
Then there was a tremendous Porsche race over 13 laps. Belting stuff.

I think Bottas has forced their hand to be honest, he's driven superbly this season but luck has deserted him.
I'd love to see Dan in a battle royale with Lewis/Seb, but I can understand the Merc/Ferrari approach.
I very much expect to see George Russell in a Mercedes in 2021. He looks very good indeed.
