"when did I do dangerous driving?"

Have a fucking word Seb, have a fucking word

I'd say it was a bit naughty of Hamilton slowing right down in the middle of a corner where Vettel wouldn't have been expecting it.

Still doesn't excuse Vettel's behaviour though. He should have been thrown out of the race for that. Not just a 10s penalty.

It wasn't. Lead driver controls the pace. End of argument. That is the rulebook

Jeez...what a take from Bottas on the line for 2nd!!

Cant see Vettel doing it on purpose. I really think he has seen the red rag and lost control briefly.

Just got in and seen it, vettel should have been gone for that, certainly shouldn't have been able to still finish 4th. Very frustrating for hamilton

I'm pretty sure he knew exactly what he was doing.

To me, a 10 second stop/go penalty doesn't seem enough. In terms of damage there was very little but the intent is where the issue is. Akin to spitting / biting in football

Telemetry said Hamilton didn't, just vettel being a twat

Yep, Lewis maintened his speed basically. Vettel presumed he would floor it as he exited the corner and didn't.

Still amazed he only got a 10 sec stop and go for the pushing into Lewis.

The telemetry replay I saw showed Hamilton using his brakes through the corner.

He's allowed to slow the pack down, he just did it in a place that caught Vettel out unexpectedly.

What Hamilton did when Vettel shunted him was exactly what he had done under the previous safety cars. Vettel wasn't paying attention, then acted like a petulant dick. Should have been a straight black flag followed by a lengthy ban (but apparently you can get away with that sort of shit if you are German...).

Apparently dangerous driving under the safety car has a maximum penalty of a 10s stop-go. Still doesn't mean the FIA shouldn't step in and punish him though.

Looks like Todt may be about to punish Vettel further via the World Motor Sport Council or whatever the FIA court uses.

He needs punishing more than the stewards at the event could do. It sends out a terrible image of the sport and driving in general to younger viewers. Given that the FIA are mad on road safety as well, they are obliged to send out a message IMO

I can't believe Seb hasn't admitted any fault or apologised at all or anything. Makes him look like such a petulant shitbag which probably makes further punishment more likely but I don't think anything else will happen.

He has previous, he gets very tetchy when things don't go his way and the pressure is on. Easy for him to be all smiles when he was dominating or when the Ferrari wasn't quick enough

I think they've all got it in them as they're obsessed with winning and being the best - you have to be to be in F1 I suppose.

No further punishment for Vettel.

He has apologised for his actions and will be taking part in a load of educational projects across various FIA events (basically doing community service)

Vettel has accepted full responsibility for the incident and will also make a public apology
