best GP in years, well done Lewis and brilliant from Button too.

Rosberg, what can you say, just doesn't seem to have the cajones.

Great race and brilliant Lewis has won it again.

Thought Rosberg was going to let Vettel through to keep the title open.

Massive battle for Rosberg now. He cannot afford to finish 3rd in the Championship.

Nico having a bit of a temper tantrum too :)

Must be fuming at the fuck up at the end. No pressure from Lewis at the time either. The poor lad cracked.

He's just not as good a driver. Hasn't got the skills or the temperament it seems.

The hat throwing thing was quite funny though.

DELIVERY: One massive crate of sour grapes for Mr Rosberg

Gimp. Enjoy the last year of your Mercedes contract Nico as I don't think there'll be any more.

Flash back to when Lewis left McLaren to join Mercedes. Niki Lauder and Ross Brawn were spot on when he signed saying after 12 months they would dominate, no else believed it though

"Mercedes is a great partner of ours and they are a great team. But for anyone leaving McLaren, and he wants to win, I think that's a mistake because I have faith and belief in this team. Whether you measure it over the last four races, four years or 40 years, we're a fantastic team. So I would say to any driver who wanted to win in this sport: 'Come and join McLaren and aspire to join McLaren'. I wouldn't advise anyone to leave McLaren if they want to win" - Martin Whitmarsh, McLaren

"It is his decision, although I personally don't think it is the right decision" - Jenson Button, McLaren.

"I don't see Lewis winning races in 2013 - and there has to be doubts that the car will be good enough in 2014. And it is easy for a lean couple of years to develop into something longer. Just look what happened to Jacques Villeneuve after he joined BAR having won the title in 1997. He never won another race. Lewis has got a tough task ahead of him at Mercedes. It is a gamble" - Allan McNish, Audi.

Congratulations to Lewis Hamilton, but as a formula one fan I have found this years races to be rather mundane at times. It may just be me, but I have certainly lost a bit of interest this year.

Yesterday was a fantastic race though. Far better than the Vettel procession seasons.

The Season hasn't been anything to shout about for a couple of reasons

1) Lewis has been pretty much issue free (can only think of the Pit stop call in Monaco and his DNF in Singapore) which has meant he has been able to show up Rosberg and outclass him
2) Teams behind the Mercs just haven't done a lot to recreate the Battle of the Rest, Red Bull went backwards, Williams seem to take a step forward then make calls that send them back 2 and the less said about McLaren the better. Ferrari improved massively and sit 2nd with little to no challenge

There have still been moments throughout the season down in the back of the top 10 but if all you are interested in is the battle for 1st & 2nd place you will have been disappointed. But that has been like for years anyway. Before Lewis in the Merc it was Vettel for 4 years in the Red Bull and Schumacher in the Ferrari for a Million and One years.

Last 3 races are going to be interesting and I hope Vettel can take 2nd place and see how Nico reacts to that. In that car, finishing lower than 2nd in the Championship, after only a couple of DNF's, is an abject failure IMO.
