Precisely my thoughts Frank. Suzuka was pwopa wet but this is driving on a lake. Too dangerous by half. Reminds me of Fuji when Hunt won the title as Lauda pulled in and stopped racing as he didn't want to kill himself.

They are not going to be allowed out on these conditions. They are hoping that the rain stops. The track apparently has brilliant drainage so 10 mins of dry weather means it's driveable. The rain stopping is highly unlikely though.

Common sense was used throughout. At no point did they put a car on the track. Due to the schedule and paying customers they waited and hoped they could race. A chance never came for that.
