The Euro 2024 Thread

TAA feeling a bit generous I see

Vlahović is a very good player IIRC but tbf I’ve not seen him since he left Fiorentina.
…and he’s been absolutely wank so far 😂

Well that should be 2... Walker has to take the strike....

Very “PL v Champo”, this.

Edit: I swear when I post things the universe decides it’s time to switch it up. Serbia a little better now.

Last one of those I was invested in didn’t end well.

If Conor Coady and Harry Kane had a race tomorrow, I'm not sure who'd win. Or if it would be finished by Tuesday.

All very Denmark v Slovenia earlier, if we'd upped the pace we could and probably should have put this to bed already. As is we slack off and potentially risk allowing them back in to it.

So the players are now coming out to warm up 40 minutes before kick off. No wonder they are knackered from 70 mins on.

Er, players have always done that? When I started going to Wolves in 1988 and we were in the ground at 2pm we did it.

Good half. Saka, Guéhi and Bellingham all excellent. 2-0 kills this.

I think Bellingham’s license to float basically anywhere has left space for the Serbs to get a foothold.

The dropping deep concerns me. We should be playing a higher line, they've no pace out wide.

Like to see Foden replaced by Gordon on 60 mins or so

We’re a little lopsided. Shaw and a wide left forward would add balance and create a threat from both flanks.

The commentary team called out kane staying high up top and not dropping deep.

I suppose he can't really though because he'd end up in Bellingham's space

Other than a bright opening 15 minutes it's been absolute toss. I wouldn't bet on an equaliser but at the same time it wouldn't surprise

No they haven't. In the old days, they never warmed up except for a few mins before the ref called for kick off. Then they started coming out for 10 mins, then 20 and now we have 40.
