The Definitive TWF World XI thread (1986-present) - CENTRE FORWARD VOTING OPEN

Not even for the hair?

Probably yes for hair, but thought that this was a discussion about footballing ability :icon_biggrin:

Though if we had been allowed to go back further in time there are a couple that would have altered my choices

Rene would only be considered for one incident - don't think that he was up with the best otherwise

Being robbed of the ball by Cameroon allowing Roger Milla to score, resulting in Colombia being knocked out of the World Cup?

I am struggling to think of any south american keeper other than Chilavert, who was decent, reliable, confident and not error prone. Higuita, Tafferel, Campos, all mad as a box of frogs.

Go back to Fillol in the 70,s

Julio Cesar was alright for a while before he got fat.

Dida was absolutely mince :icon_lol: I quite liked Carlos Roa despite him being a religious nut.

Dida was very good for a short period, then descended into Bravo-esque levels of shite.

Edwin van der sar
Manuel Neuer
Gianluigi Buffon

I know most of you know, but I only asked about Higuita for shits and giggles. Lordy.

TBF Higuita should be in there just for that scorpion save..
