Few side points here. Ryan Bennett, Jody Craddock & Keith Curle can feel very hard done by to not make my top 6 picks, but I had to squeeze De Wolf in there somewhere as he was an absolute cult hero while I was growing up. Loved Ludo as well.

That's some turn around for Coady, but he gets in to the mix because of the last two seasons, and because we're doing three centre backs so he technically works in this formation. If we were sticking with 4-4-2, I wouldn't have picked him at all.

Had to go for Boly. Lescott was a monster for us and he was head and shoulders above anyone else in our team at that point. But big Willy is something else. He's like a 2019 deluxe Lescott.

In my eyes Dave Woodfield was the best uncapped English CH I've seen at Wolves.

I had to check the timeline, but I think he played for Wolves until 1970 after 250 appearances.

Unfortunately I don't have the luxury of Richards, Pollet, Curle or de Wolf so I had to pick between Stears, Berra, Butler, Batth etc...

I'd take Berra 100 times out of 100 over Stears.

Stears was a fucking airhead who somehow managed to regress after he was 21.

Berra was ok. Rustic and would be truly horrible in this team given his ability on the ball but could actually defend.
