The Darts Thread

Durrant is about the only one who could cut it in the PDC I think. Waites is shite now.

Not had a look yet. Is Mr Wom Humrerrrrrrd there still?

Not yet, Little Richard at the moment.

167 checkout from Duzza, fair play.

BDO not the same without the great Tony Green. Durrant a set down.

It's not *that* bad, it could almost pass for an early round World Series PDC match. Almost.

There'll be a lot worse than this on show later :icon_lol:

lower standard admittedly but I doubt I'd reach a double if I played against any of them - best of a 10,001 legs

This game is alright by BDO standards I suppose. Kenny is definitely throwing well to stay in the game with Durrant. But when the number 1 seed has 76 left and goes 60 double 8 (which is correct obvs) and almost is lucky enough for his piss poor single one to hit the 18 then they are unlikely to worry the upper echelons of the other code.

The women's matches are the worst to watch. Like watching some pissed up blokes down the pub.

They should get Mr Vaaaaaannn Hunnnnnneerrrrrrrrrrrdth to do the scoring as we would never hear him at his most irritating.

Little Richard who did the first game is a decent bloke by the way. Met him at exhibitions and his commentary on me + tony o'shea vs squeeze + ted hankey was the stuff of legend

Adams in trouble in a bit of an epic against Joyce.

Vannn hunnnnerd is doing my tits in though.

Decent match there, not the highest standard but some decent drama as Wolfie sneaks through on sudden death.

I watched a prelim game last night that nearly lasted two hours. Calling it pub standard would be polite.

C4 were backstage when the show started in the players room and McGrath who just lost to Mitchell (and I'm guessing played in the prelim game SSB is referring to from last night) was drinking a pint at 12:40, so probably not the best preparation. Although saying that I always tend to play better after a few jars, I've never played in the so-called World Championships however.

I always found I needed four pints to get my eye in.

Four to six pints was my perfect window. Less or more than that and I was shit.

It was when you'd had four before 9pm and then you found out you was throwing last and wouldn't be on for another hour and a half that was my downfall.

Decent game just between Dean Reynolds and Pip Blackwell. Reynolds 2-0 up in sets and Blackwell comes back to win 3-2 in the tiebreaker. Reynolds threw it away really. Had three darts at double top to win it earlier in the match. Winner plays Daryl Fitton.
