Taylor wins it then. Destroyed MvG there really

Taylor was always going to win this, as its the very first one.... Great weekend from The Power.

Pretty poor competition really, not one close game all tournament. All really one-sided stuff, I think they need to re-think the format for this to be successful.

That time of year again. Off up the Civic tonight to drink myself silly.

Nice to see Taylor gracious in defeat as ever. Mouthing "wanker" towards someone in the crowd as Wright wins the match.

Great game between Anderson and Barney, Anderson winning the last 3 legs in 34 darts. Including winning a leg when Barney had a chance for 9 darts. As for last night Wright really should have got the dart board off as Taylor always does and asked him to sign it.

If had done that Taylor would have moaned to Barry Hearn because he acts like a spoiled brat when things don't go his way.

I've been waiting for someone to do that to Taylor when they beat him.

Van Gerwen playing some awesome stuff against Peter Wright. He just left 2 after 9 darts and did his second 10 darter of the match.

Draw hidden away in there.

Tough first round matches for Bunting, Caven and Dolan. James Wade's isn't a given either, especially over the short format of round one.

Can't see past a van Gerwen/Anderson final - although Anderson's likely route looks slightly easier on paper

Anderson possible route - Frost, Henderson, Jenkins, Chisnall, Wright (also got Wade in his half of draw)
van Gerwen possible route - Viljanen, Reyes, Bunting, Thornton, Taylor (also got Lewis & RvB in his half)

Eric Bristow is having a mare on twitter. Twat.

Just seen Bristow's comments. Fucking hell.

They've sacked the idiot it seems.

Miles past it as a pundit anyway, he always sounded pissed up.
