It was just gamesmanship and wasn't needed. It was the final leg in a final.
 
Despite the fact they represented England I could not have been more unhappy at seeing those two win. Without doubt the most excruciating pair on TV. Imagine losing to those, you have the one cuddling and kissing you, the other passing you the board to sign? The rest of the nations deserve huge credit for not dropping the nut on either of them.
 
Sky loving the "war of words" between Lewis and Price. It's probably something there concocted between themselves to boost the ratings.
 
Think I might be wrong and they do actually hate each other!
 
Looks that way, Price seems a right cock for someone so low in the rankings, something wrong when you want Lewis to win.

The only win situation would have been if Price had knocked him out after he'd lost.
 
Some vicious finishing from MVG in the World Matchplay final. Currently 11-4 up against Taylor.
 
Taylor knowing the game is up turns to the crowd to help him out.
 
No taking the board off and signing it? Shock!! Pity it wasn't 18-0 and his antics after the match just sum him up.
 
That Icelandic clap is going to piss me off this season.

Taylor should slope off quietly and leave the stage to MvG.
 
Not sure what Taylor thought MVG was doing in the 18/19th legs. If it was just to try and get to him then that's disappointing.

His interview said it all. Just not good enough any more.
 
On the ball as ever....turn on BBC 2 to find the Champions League of Darts Final on - Taylor v MvG

Apparently Taylor beat MvG in the Group stages

First 10 legs of the final (best of 21) and Taylor has hammered MvG and leads 7-3. Can't imagine MvG carrying on like he is for the rest of this game
