The Darts Thread

Was in Week One as well. Lewis played well there overall but struggled to get over the line, should have been a lot more convincing than 7-4.

That fat sex offending fuck really looked back to his best then. A signing of the board and name dropping galore to follow too. The joy..

Heads up for Sport Relief's Let's Play Darts, on BBC2 at 9pm very shortly.

Always a good laugh watching the celebs play.

Plus, Tony Green gets to commentate on his usual standard...

MVG breaks TV average record.

122/123 I think.

Worst of it is, it genuinely should have been higher, he began to think about it too much towards the end.

Massive anticlimax. Some woeful darts at the end. Stupid I think like that when he was hitting 180s and doubles for fun.

UK Open on ITV4. Missed most of tonight watching some shite football match instead.

9 darter for MvG.

Looks like Ando is going out to a Rileys qualifier!

Edit: Yep, all done. 9-3.

I was looking at the betting earlier too. He was 1/40!!

The same guy (Barry Lynn) has knocked out Kellett now. Finished the final leg with Bull, 25, Bull, mad skillz.

Adrian Lewis is only 31?!! He looks about 40.

The darts haven't been great, but looks a good atmosphere in Rotterdam at the Premier League tonight.

Yeah I'm watching right now. They said last week they'd sold out really quickly.

Anyone watching the World Cup Of Darts on Sky?

England (Taylor and Lewis) are through to the semis against Northern Ireland. That's tonight at 7pm.

Currently watching Scotland v Belgium. Kim Huybrechts has just beaten Gary Anderson 4-2 to put Belgium 1-0 up. His brother Ronnie v Robert Thornton next.

Format is first to two points. Two singles matches then a doubles match if it's all square after that.

Australia v Holland coming up after this match too which should be good.

Yep those two. Aussies is Whitlock and Kyle Anderson.

Northern Ireland is Dolan and someone else who I forget.

Out of that lot I have had the pleasure of legs against Dolan and Kim H. BOTH utterly terrifying but really nice blokes.

Belgium win the QF 2-1 with a 4-2 legs victory in the doubles.

All games are first to 4 legs.

Aus v Hol up next.

MVG beat Whitlock 4-1.
Anderson beat RVB 4-3. Anderson was 3-2 up with the throw but Barney broke him back, but Barney then messed up his doubles in the decider to hand Anderson the game.

Pairs up next to decide it.

Brilliant game. Holland sneaked it 4-3.

Aus went 2-1 up only for Holland to break and go 3-2 up. Aussies broke back to make it 3-3 with the throw in the final leg but Holland almost hit a 9 darter to take it.

There were two 9 darter chances. One for each. Whitlock on the 141 hit T20 but then hit T10 going for T15/D18.

Then MVG missed the first T20 on the 141 in the last leg.

MVG didn't play that well. I don't think the pairs game suits his fast paced playing style. He still had the quality to make it count though in the end.

Holland play Belgium in the semis tonight. England play Northern Ireland. Should be a England v Holland final really.
