The Darts Thread

More unstoppable darts from MVG. No-one is beating him on this form.

We need a forum night somewhere. I miss chucking darts semi competitively so to speak. Im practicing still but its meaningless if your not throwing against somebody else.

Good start by Taylor. Really hoping that could set up a classic. MVG needs to wake up.

Taylor is looking superb. MVG really showing signs of cracking under the pressure as well.

Sloppy way to throw away the session by MvG there. Big job on now from two breaks down.

Taylor's finishing has gone to pot. Could have won all these last three legs.

Still a level game. Taylor needs to not miss anything now. This must be how Painter and co felt playing the old Taylor.

Taylor needs to win four of the next six minimum I would say.

16-13 MvG. Those six unanswered legs were the killer, you can't do that against him.

I don't like MVG as a person. I think he is an arrogant bellend. But it is impossible to not like the quality of his play. He is a superb player and a worthy successor when Taylor decides he wants to retire.

Taylor has been arrogant for 30 years. All the best players are.

MVG is top class. I don't think he comes across as arrogant just as someone who knows how good he is and seems like a decent bloke. He's given the final board to Dave Clark to auction off for ParkinsonsUK, fantastic gesture.

Taylor is worse for being an odious type, listen to his interview after the match whining about MvG "jumping around" after he won. Well, for one he's perfectly entitled to do that if he wants, and secondly he actually didn't do anything of the sort.

Taylor's the best darts player there has ever been but he's a pretty low grade human being.
