Well done Chisnall. Thought he was going to absolutely destroy but Snakebite tried a bit of a fightback.
 
Dennis Priestly on comms, sounds just like Big Sam.
 
The day off hasn't done Chisnall any good. Hammered by Mitchell 5-1, might cost him 1st in the group as well.
 
Very poor by Chissy tonight. But he is at least through. White v Klaasen should be tasty though.
 
This Harry Potter guy looks more like Will from The Inbetweeners.
 
Missed doubles costing Wayne Jones vs Lewis. Enough chances to have won that one.
 
As much as it pains me to say... Im glad Adams has done well so far but I can't see him getting past the 2nd round.
 
Taylor 4-1 down to Terry Jenkins. Averaging about 75 at the moment.
 
Back to 4-4. Some Whitlock-esque capitulation from Jenkins.
 
10-6 Taylor in the end. Got away with some real shite there.
 
Gary Anderson in all kinds of trouble, 7-3 down to Mark Webster.
 
Cannot stand Feel. He makes my skin crawl and I really hope Thornton gives him a right thumping to get shot of him before I am there on Saturday.

Still think Anderson can pull this back although it is a tough ask with how Webster is performing.

Sad that Barney feels the need to stoop to slowing tactics. Embarrassing.
 
I'd always shake an opponent's hand, but that was unnecessary and deliberate off-putting tactics from Barney. Pretty pathetic stuff.
 
We all know exactly what he was doing no matter what he says afterwards. As Mardle just alluded to, they've all tried gamesmanship. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. Let's not pretend he was slowing down for himself, he's already a steady casual player who doesn't throw particularly fast anyway.
 
And it is fine to do it. I did it in leagues for years. If playing a fast player, slow him down. If playing a slow player look like you are going to throw the dart over his shoulder unless he gets out of the way PDQ. It is normal and certainly not pathetic at all.
 
So you think Barney should have just carried on playing at the pace he was and lose? Behave. I'm a fan of both Barney and Wade but you do what you have to do to win and it wasn't as if he was cheating. Poor from Wade in not shaking hands too and i think he will regret that when he has a think about it.
