The Darts Thread

Bobby George's lad sounds exactly like him, unsurprisingly. Let's hope he doesn't grow up to be as massive a bellend as his dad.

I've met Bobby at a couple of exhibitions and he's seemed a good guy.

This referee it mightily annoying though....won hundwed and forwty, and Tony Green's commentary is truly awful.

Jimi Hendriks :icon_lol:

Fair play to his parents.

The Bdo bores me. Where is the banter between the fans? or are the prawn sandwiches boring them?

Bye bye you cowardly twat. Another useless wolf.

Following the record-breaking success of the 2013 Ladbrokes World Darts Championship, the PDC are delighted to confirm that the first prize at next year's tournament will be £250,000 - the highest individual prize in the sport's history.

Guessing that means ticket prices will be going up!

My first proper view of the BDO darts with watching the Fitton game.

I'm sorry but the fat gimp who is number one seed had 76 and hit 5 with the first dart, and chose to go for 18 with his second. Hits the treble and he buggers it, and the single doesn't leave a shot. WTF?

Saw some high-quality 24 dart legs on the PC re-broadcast this afternoon as well. BDO is an embarrassment.

The fat Scouse shit was awful.

24 darts, we do better than that FFS, and we're half cut by the end too.

It is utter garbage. So piss-poor. Still annoyed about that 71 left and throwing an 18.

The shot with 2 darts left is 51 - treble 17 to leave double 10. Hit the single and you have 54 left set up -a 14 or an 18 looks great then. You could go triple 13 for double 16 of course (in fact I might prefer that), or go for the triple 15 to leave double 13, but what is he doing at 18??? The single leaves no shot, the triple leaves no shot/

I'd go 17s all the way there, nonsense darts.

Just seen Bobby George's son win his second round game with an 84 average. His opponent, the wonderfully named Jimi Hendricks, averaged 78. They'd be lucky to win a leg on the PDC Tour with those figures.

And now there is an interview with Jan Dekker. Well, I assume it is Jan Dekker, although it could just as easily be Stan Hullis....

Ah yes, but the first nine dart averages were very respectable. Why only the BDO and BBC bother with this utterly useless measure of ability that cunningly ignores being able to set up and put away finishes is quite beyond me.

Ha.

That's not a bad shout too be fair

That's uncanny!

Game of 'arrers on Friday, Stan?

Mr Coat is a great nickname. Would be a better username than Stan Hullis too.
