The Darts Thread

From his first dart he has had the look of someone who didn't believe he could win the game. He has look utterly depressed from the start

and then wins his 2nd set of course.

Taylor now playing like Barney was.

Barney's starting to look happy now. What has got Phil spooked? The mysterious draft again?

That Barney interview pissed Taylor off at the end. Taylor so wound up reacted wrongly in my eyes..

Van Gerwen is 4-2 up against Taylor. I hope MVG wins after what happened the other night with Barney

Think you might see Taylor take a break after this game. Doubt he'd miss the crowds, they seem right knobbers.

I agree with you SSB about Taylor but not about the crowd. It's all about the banter and atmosphere for them which is fair enough.

As Mardle has been saying it's like Taylor is getting beat by his own tactics. I just think a new champion in an epic final will just be good to see.

Yeah "boring boring tables" provides a great atmosphere. The World's attracts more of a Premier League darts crowd there for a piss up. Give me the Matchplay anyday.

I've been to the matchplay and loved it. I think the Premier League is good fun with the crowds but the Ally Pally crowd since my post has been like a morgue.

At 4-2 MVG was flying and looked set to win. How Taylor turned it around I don't know, but what a fantastic 16th title.

I think he'll have a month away from the floor stuff get himself ready for the Premier League.

I miss being able to watch the darts :(

BDO World Championships starts at the Lakeside today. Already a shambles with the scoring going to cock.

Just switched the highlights on and the BBC aren't doing themselves any favours in which bits they show. The first leg of the O'Shea v Walton match they show and neither player hit a treble until about the 25th dart of the leg.

Oh and Mr. One Hummrerrrrd is back!!

Still got the massive THUNK when it hits the board too. Back off the mic!
