Did anyone notice Azmir Khan yesterday bowling for Manchester originals?
On the point of delivery his bowling arm was practically horizontal!
I always thought the arm was supposed to vertical, or as vertical as possible, otherwise you'll get done for 'chucking'.
It wasn't just one ball they were all like that I couldn't believe no one made a point on it!
Have I missed some rule amendment?

No, never been any such rule.

Lasith Malinga was bowling like this 15+ years ago.

You can't bend the arm significantly on delivery, 15 degrees is the tolerance point.

105 off 42 for Brook this evening

Criminal that he’s not made the World Cup squad. It’s a job to say who to leave out but Livingstone has done nothing with the bat for a couple of years.

I mean Livingstone can sort of bowl, but I'd say more that he can burgle 2-3 overs in T20 than bowl 6+ in an ODI.

And Willey being in there regardless is a scandal. If he wasn't good enough four years ago in home conditions then he bloody isn't now for a tournament in India, is he.

One of those where when Stokes has come back they've made it Brook or Malan, which isn't the right question. Like it shouldn't have been Pietersen or Thorpe in the 2005 Ashes, it should have been Bell or Pietersen (we got away with it but that's not the point).

Heath Streak died overnight aged 49

Then came back to life about an hour later. Gotta love social media

Moeen is a busted flush at T20 level, shocking for 'Warwickshire', he shouldn't be in the England side let alone captaining it

JB hogging the strike, but fair enough

I hate Trent Bridge, it's just so forgiving, misfits that are out elsewhere go for 6 there

Not sure even 200 is par here.

Biggest let down of all the test grounds I’d been to too. I was really looking forward to it based on its numerous good reviews but views and atmosphere were a long way short of the other grounds - for me!

My comment wasn't so much about the facilities, I've been 4 or 5 times, but only to watch Warwickshire or iterations of, not an international. More that it's so small it gives a disproportionate advantage to the batsmen in 1 day games

Oh yeah - apologies as my post was a total tangent!

On the Brook/World Cup conundrum; I'd simply leave out Willey. There are no circumstances where I'd ever want to pick him, he is shit.

Yeah Willey bowling with a dew sodden ball is enough to make most shudder.

Crawley captaining a much rotated 50 over side v Ireland. Sam Hain gets his chance
Zak Crawley (Kent – Captain)
Rehan Ahmed (Leicestershire)
Harry Brook (Yorkshire)
Brydon Carse (Durham)
Ben Duckett (Nottinghamshire – Vice Captain)
Sam Hain (Warwickshire)
Will Jacks (Surrey)
Craig Overton (Somerset)
Matthew Potts (Durham)
Phil Salt (Lancashire)
George Scrimshaw (Derbyshire)
Jamie Smith (Surrey)
Luke Wood (Lancashire)

We're never going to give up on the Hunchback Overton twins, are we.

Puke Wood is shit too, we need to stop picking bowlers just because they're left armed.

Scrimshaw isn't up to much either, he's quick but sprays it all over the shop. If he plays that'll be the first Derbyshire player since Cork I think in any format
