The Cricket Thread

This is it they’re going on like it was some magic ball England were given.
Not to mention the wickets took with spin and Broad took with the new ball.
Khwaja also saying the umpires just picked that because there was no others in the box.
Sounds a bit of them justifying why they retained the ashes they know full well they got away with robbery at old Trafford and are using this to level things up.

There's no doubt the change ball made a difference but it feels to me like some Aussies i.e. Ponting and Mcgrath are making out there's some kind of anti Australian agenda by the officials same as with the Starc 'catch' drop.
Cunts.

It’s the arrogance that Australia couldn’t possibly be bowled out and it’s down to dodgy officials.
Was the ball that much of an issue? 3 wickets to spin and 2 to the second new ball.
If the officials are that anti Aussie Smith would’ve been given as run out and Stokes catch would’ve stood.

Hales quits internationals, I always felt he was one tournament only when he came back. Wasn't even a consideration for ODIs and we don't play that many T20Is.

Prithvi Shaw scoring runs for Northants in the lame duck 50 Over Cup. But the real news is how he's aged.

23 years old. Yes, really.

Wow he looks old enough to be my dad whereas I’m old enough to be his.

Tammy Beaumont has scored the first century in The Hundred women's competition with 118 off 61 balls in Welsh Fire's win against Trent Rockets.

I really want to go to the T20 at Trent Bridge but they are charging SEVENTY FIVE POUNDS for 40 overs of cricket and I just can't bring myself to pay it.

£75 for 6 or 7 hours of play vs £65 for 90 mins...

Do you get a refund if it rains and it gets reduced to 15-20 overs per team?

Although good news for @Trips that it looks like James Vince's England career is finally over

That does not look like an attack that's going to go too deep in a World Cup. I'm the founder member on here of the Chris Woakes fan club on here, but In India he is going to spend a lot of time seeing the ball going straight over his head. It's also a spinner light unless we are trusting in Root
