The CHRISTMAS Thread

The kids were watching the bloody Nativity on Netflix last night. If they think I am going to sit through the wonky donkey sequel with David Tennant there will be present deductions...

Nativity is pretty harmless, good fun.

It's ghastly. Great for little ones surely. But an 18 year old and a 15 year old

I was listening to Classic FM earlier (it's my jam) and they were playing some lovely Xmas tunes.

You should listen to my radio show on Sunday evenings. That's all classical music and this month, begrudgingly , I play hymns and carols.

I keep forgetting about that, tell us where and when again

I bet your favourite song to play is Superstition...

I'll get me coat.

If they stated that they did it on purpose to Whamageddon people then it doesn't count, apparently.

Hmmm, i'd love to see that rule written down someplace...my boss was a Whamicide bomber at last night's Xmas party...invited people for pre-drinks at his gaff and played the bastad song as they walked through the door. People were gutted. Took out 50% of the players in our team...

Fortunately, I'm not the type of brown nose that feels the need to cosy up to the boss, so I was in the pub drinking Guiness and listening to a blues band.

I've only got to go to two this year and one in Jan.

My #2 fucking loves them and goes to pretty much every party we get invited to. I think she's been to 2 and has another 5 or 6 to attend.

I bet that showed him !

A Christmas stuffing tip. Put leeks in the mixture instead of onions.

Christmas Wrapping by The Waitresses is an objectively good song.

There, I said it.

As is I Was Born On Christmas Day by Saint Etienne.

Whamageddon'd by Smooth Radio last night

Asking for it listening to Smooth, tbh.

Agreed.

Still in the game - which I'm pleased about as I was 'Whammed' on December 1st last year.

whammed by my own radio station on Sunday evening. Which song do you most like at chirstmas ? This one- then played maria Carey , or this one- then played wham. Bastards

I'm still in the game but I'm listening to Classic FM pretty much exclusively, so I'm kinda hiding in a fox hole, musically speaking. I get the feeling I'll get Whammed at the Royal London on Sunday.
