Shame really, I thought Tolu seemed a decent guy. Could've been pretty good in the champ too.

One fight doesn't necessarily break his character tbf. Mistakes; I've been there. I really don't think the mental toll this season (and the last two for those who have been here) has taken on the players can be overstated.

He should still go, mind. But I'd go as far as buying out the ones we can't sell at this point. And sacking Rob.

We made 7 signings last summer. 2 already sold, 1 on loan and not likely to be back, 2 linked with other teams and one of them 2 is on a sort of internal suspension and will be sold at a massive loss presumably.

Then the last two are the FBs. One who can't beat out the LB who was backup last year and the other might be the worst footballer many of us have seen play for us. I think he is actually worse than Hoever, who is now backup in the league below.

Its surely in consideration for the worst transfer window in Prem history? I can't think what other contenders would be up there.

He could quite easily say “there was an altercation between Tolu & Mane after West Ham - tensions were high - but we’ve addressed it internally. I’d prefer you heard it from me (the manager of the football club) rather than elsewhere. It’s sorted and we’ve moved on”. RE gets a platform to update us once a week before each match and this is actually newsworthy/of interest to the fans.

Instead he chose to fill his press conference up with shit sound bites like “we want to take as many points as possible” before serving up more dross. Yeah thanks for that Rob, really insightful stuff.

Pleased to see Mane has addressed it publicly and it’s seemingly been sorted. Tolu will go in the summer regardless, but I reckon he’d have been ok in the Championship.

There hasn’t actually been a line on it from the club either, and we don’t actual know where the leak came from. Rob clearly doesn’t fancy him anyway and someone somewhere is trying to force him out.

Clubs will never reveal issues that happened behind closed doors unless they have to.

It would have benefited nobody if Rob had said something had happened in the dressing room.

Luckily for you though, he will have to talk about it this week and will probably play it down and annoy you with his response.

You’re probably right. Everything about him (and the club in general) annoys me at the moment. There’s not a single part of me that thinks Rob Edwards is the man to get us back up next season - so I’m firmly in the “bin him off” camp, I’m afraid.
