José Sa: He's wanted to leave for ages when we're a Premier League club let alone a Championship club. Go away please, sick of your nonsense.

Matt Doherty: Scandalous that we gave him a 3 year deal in 2023. Absolutely should not be staying. I wouldn't have him in League One these days.

Hugo Bueno: I don't like him. I call him a Shit Lee Naylor for a reason. Can go if someone gets seduced by a YouTube montage of 3 or 4 good crosses.

Santi Bueno: Slower than Gary Breen but at least he seems to give a shit. Stay I suppose as I doubt anyone will bid decent money for him.

David Moller Wolfe: If you can't get in our team then you obviously aren't very good. Go for any reasonable bid.

André: Regrettably cannot see any chance he stays. I want £30m+ for him though.

Joao Gomes: As above.

Adam Armstrong: Should be quite good for us in the Championship. Not a Premier League player but we knew that.

Hwang Hee-Chan: Please go. 4 goals in his last 41 games.

Tolu Arokodare: Would keep if possible. He's a bit odd, he's properly rubbish in the air, but there's something there to work with.

Yerson Mosquera: He says he wants to stay. Bit of a loon but he's alright.

Pedro Lima: Hard to say as we never pick him. Can see him going on some low key Portuguese loan.

Rodrigo Gomes: Very likeable and I doubt there'll be any PL takers, so stay.

Toti Gomes: Overpromoted at points through his Wolves career but again he does care and his physical attributes will see him ok a level down.

Dan Bentley: Alright as 3rd choice I suppose.

Jean-Ricner Bellegarde: Would get rid if we can. Will always infuriate.

Enso Gonzalez: Never gonna make it.

Sam Johnstone: Get out of here, sicknote. Rubbish and a dreadful attitude.

Mateus Mané: Unless it's a silly bid then he should be staying. Get him on a proper contract ASAP.

Ladislav Krejci: We're obliged to sign him, we'll sell him for about what we paid. Shame. Don't get relegated then.

Jackson Tchatchoua: Good God, please go. Rubbish.

Angel Gomes: I wouldn't bother based on what I've seen so far.

Sasa Kalajdzic: I'd bring him back but we won't.

Ki-Jana Hoever: Worse than Tchatchoua.

Marshall Munetsi: No need to unpack, mate. Stay where you are.

Fer Lopez: As above.

Tawanda Chirewa: Bye.

Boubacar Traoré: Probably worth a try if he can ever stay fit.

Tommy Doyle: Think we will have him back. Alright as a squad player at that level I suppose.

Nasser Djiga: Looks bloody awful in the SPL. No ta.

Nigel Lonwijk: Amazing he's still our player. He's 24 in October. Time to let go.

Alfie Pond: Currently playing in League Two which I think is his level.

Said before it's a tricky one as they'll all want out, but practically they all can't so it's a balancing act on who we keep and them not being twats about it.

The realistic ones I'd like to keep are S Bueno, R Gomes, Bellegarde, and Armstrong. Others are either unrealistic Krejci, Andre, Sa, J Gomes, Mane, actively want gone Johnstone, Hwang, Tchatchoua, Hoever or meh.

I have a feeling Johnstone will be our number 1 though, under contract so unless we send him on the Wolves loan to nowhere path he'll be here as nobody is buying him.

I'd rather have Che Adams than Tolu, which is more a comment on the latter than the former

I'm done with 90% of them, although obviously 90% won't/can't go.

Clean sweep for me so if I had my way I'd literally just keep Armstrong and Rodrigo.

Less realistic keepers would be Krejci and Mane.

At a push I imagine we'll be left with Toti and Tolu as well, and that wouldn't be the end of the world.

Literally everyone else will/can get to fuck, I'd include Edwards in that too and just have a clean break in the summer, but that won't happen.

On another note, let's also fucking finally learn to play with 4 at the back while we're in the Champ

Is that a new name, ‘Meh Lopez’? Good work.

Controversial opinion coming up.

I'd keep everyone.

Yes, I'd even keep Tchatchoua. Since the start of 2026 we have been a mid-table team i.e. good enough for the prem. That means more than good enough for promotion from the Championship.

But obviously not gonna happen - Sa, Andre, Joao are not staying.

A travesty that we’ve managed to hollow out a credible premier league team/ squad in the last 4 to 5 seasons to be left with such a poor and shallow group, bereft of confidence, fitness, shape and more importantly quality and leadership needed to compete.

There’s probably only Armstrong, Bouba, Krejci and Santi (maybe Mosquera) who I’d give a free pass as they at least have ‘something’ that we could work with in the Championship.

But the fish is rotten from the head down, and this mob up top needs to get there act together otherwise we’ll be having this conversation next year about dropping into league 1

So the main change has to be the Manager who needs replacing as soon as the season ends, which means doing their homework now.

Agree with most of DW’s opinions. I’d probably keep Hugo B, mainly because there’s going to be such a large churn as it is and he’d clearly be fine in the Championship so it’s just one less headache.

I do agree, but it's not happening and with 8th now making the play offs won't at all this side of Xmas unless the start is catastrophic

I'd be surprised if he hasn't already been tapped up
Don’t see the market for him at the price likely required. The sample is too small.

Like always with our players, we’ve overrated him. He just stood out because we literally had no other forward and were dreadful. He might tear it up after this break the dial goes the other way, but at current trajectory we’re either selling him cheap or he’s staying.

I think someone will offer something in the 30s and we'll take it. No doubting the drop-off, but what he did to start with was pretty unusual for an 18 yr old. Teams closed him down because we've got fuck all else, that'd be different in a better side. I also think he'll want out, although that might be unfair to the kid

Results have improved more because we’ve had some good luck to balance out the bad luck earlier in the season. The first halves recently have been particularly rancid. Not my any of the leavers outside of André, Joao Gomes and possibly Mané and Krejci if he has a good World Cup will be wanted by PL teams which speaks volumes.

I think Deutsch is pretty fair in his analysis though I’d like to see Hugo Bueno stay to see if he can improve in a less challenging environment.

I see your reasoning but don’t agree with it. Hwang looked a world beater for a longer period for example and he’s dreadful. I’d be hesitant to pay £30m+ as a fan of another club but of that offer came then obviously we’d take it and be stupid not to.

Other than play a few more games, be about 10 by the end of the season, I don’t think Dibling did more at Southampton than he has and he went for £39m and slightly older. That does look an overpayment at the moment, but demonstrates what teams will lay out for someone with that pedigree

Sá - Should've gone years ago. There's a chance we actually get something for him as well given his contract length. His form at the beginning of the season is a massive factor in why we are where we are right now, not enough is made of it. Has treated this club like absolute shite on multiple occasions. He's a fucking idiot, I hate him and I can't wait to get rid.

Johnstone - I think he'll probably stay. Not particularly fussed about it either way really, I'd rather he went and we just sorted the position properly but given the amount of work we're going to have to do this summer it might be wiser to just stick with someone who really SHOULD be one of the best keepers in the division (I have no faith that he actually will be, I think he's crap).

Bentley - As 3rd choice fine. Any situation where he might actually have to play football should be avoided at any cost though. He won't want to be 3rd choice in the Championship either I don't think. A move to a PL club as 3rd choice to take up a HG spot and be a 'good pro' is on the cards I think.

Tchatchoua - Unbelievably shite. We should get rid but I don't think we will. Who's going to pay for him?

Hoever - No idea how he's getting on at Sheffield United and I don't really care. Shuffle this fucker out the door and try to get a small fee for him.

R.Gomes - I think he'd be a standout player at Championship level but only as a very attacking WB or as a winger. Really depends on what formation we are going to be playing. I think he'll have suitors in Portugal and potentially at other PL clubs as well. He could go.

H.Bueno - Don't rate him. I think he'd be okay in a good team at Championship level but if we struggle he'd basically be doing exactly what he's doing for us right now (not a lot). Weirdly, I think we might be able to get a pretty hefty fee for him. If we can we should jump at the chance because I can't see his value ever being as high as it is right now.

Møller Wolfe - I would actually keep him. He's the kind of player who would be pretty dependable in the Championship and from what I've seen I'd be playing him over Bueno anyway. He might be limited but he can defend, he can get up and down the line and support attacks and he doesn't often do anything stupid. Is he going to want to stay after this year though? I think we'd be able to get our money back if we did sell him.

Pedro Lima - No idea. There must be something about him for the hype he had but he's barely played any men's football. Could be our 'Vinagre' style player next season I suppose? Equally I wouldn't be surprised to see him leave for nothing.

S.Bueno - Still painfully slow and weak as piss but has actually turned himself into an acceptable PL footballer. He doesn't have to defend space in this current set up though and will have to in the Championship. I think he'll stay but I think he'll really struggle.

Toti - Hope he stays. He seems like he actually cares, seems to be well liked and should be one of the better centre backs in the Championship next year.

Mosquera - I think he's fucking rubbish to be honest. Such a weirdo on the pitch as well and not in an endearing way. I suppose Toti/Mosquera should be good enough to play in a 2 and also defend quite high. You'd have the odd horror show performance but overall I think it could work. Not sure anyone is going to try and sign him anyway.

Krejci - I imagine we'll sell him. It would be a real statement of intent if we put our foot down and kept him though.

Doherty - Hoping we announce before the season ends that he's off. Can't be going into the summer with a will we/won't we question over Matt Doherty FFS.

Djiga - One of the few bright points of this season is that we've been spared from having to watch this clown. I have a feeling that we won't be so lucky next season. Who's going to buy him?

Lonwijk - For what we could actually get for him is it worth keeping him as a bench player maybe? Luton, Plymouth & Huddersfield fans seem to actually like him. Maybe having him take up a squad place for a year and then leaving for free is better than getting a few grand for him now. He's probably better than Djiga for a start.

André/J.Gomes - Lumping them together as they'll both obviously be off. We need to be getting maximum value for them. We really should be able to rebuild a squad at Championship level off the fees for these 2 alone. 2 of the few players I'll miss from this bunch of cunts.

Bellegarde - Really don't like him at all. Such a nothing footballer. I think he'll stay as I can't see any PL teams being interested, I can't see anyone in France paying what we'd ask and he doesn't seem the type to kick up a fuss about playing at a lower level (the fucking cheek of him if he does). You might get 5-6 goals from him next year if you're lucky. Given the amount of business we're going to have to be doing I just about accept keeping him but I don't have to be happy about it.

A.Gomes - He's obviously a quality player and the potential £7M fee is a good deal but we'd have to build a team around him to hide his weaknesses. Question marks over his heart over a 46 game Championship season as well. There have been a few occasions already where he's clearly not been interested.

Doyle - Same as Angel but not as talented and slower than continental drift. I'd get rid but he'll be back.

Traoré - Nope. Another loan maybe? We paid £20M for him btw, that goes under the radar. Terrible transfer.

Munetsi - Fuck off.

Mané - It's a funny one. You look at the fee that Dibling got and you'd expect Mané to go for even more. Add that to the André/Gomes fees and we'd have serious money to throw at next season. You'd rather he stayed though, even if he doesn't end up being as good as people expect from him. I don't expect him to rip the league up or anything but it's nice having a young attacking player like Mateus in your team.

López - Incredibly talented, I'm not buying that he's not. He's got a long contract and won't have anyone interested in a permanent transfer in the summer. In a normal world there's no way we could be turning away a player currently in a Spanish Europa League team while we're in the second tier. The fact that he's chosen to go home instead of going for a Championship loan and his 'we'll see what happens in the summer' comment (finally get rid of Fábio and then we get that shite again) suggest that he'll probably be off on another useless loan again though. We shouldn't let him. We should make him suck it up, fight for his place here and actually contribute. We won't though, we'll roll over for Mendes and piss £20M up the wall.

Chirewa - Nah.

Xu Bin - Build the team around him. Championship player of the year 26/27.

González - Waste of £5M. He'll be gone.

Edozie - Loan to League 1? No idea.

Hwang - Don't even think about it Wolves. Similar to Sá, it was a mistake that we've failed to fix for 5 years. Just get rid of him.

Armstrong - Yeah, sound. He'll be fine. Needs a team around him though.

Tolu - I actually quite like him. If you look at his record in Belgium that should translate quite well to the Champ you'd think. Definitely keep.

Sasa - I'd keep him. Whether he'd want to risk a 46 game Championship season is another question when he could play in his home country and have a reasonable career. That knee goes again and there's no way back.

I don't think I've forgotten anyone but there might be some random no-mark who's played 25+ games for us this season and I'm just suffering from trauma induced memory loss.

Edit: Edwards. Genuinely, I'm on the fence right now. He has to show something in these last few games for me or I'll be going into the summer hoping that we'll be ruthless and bring in a proper manager.
