Summer 2022 Transfer Window

Looks like Mingueza played a lot at RB this season but is a CB in the main. He's rumoured to be for sale for less than £5m

Nico is a good player, definitely more defensive like Neves. No idea what he's worth but got to be a decent amount.

Don't know anything about Puig but Barca have been hawking him around for a while and at less than €10m.

If it's those three and £30m that would be about right. Anything less would be having our pants pulled down.

Jeff's forte. He'll get sold the dream about three La Masia graduates that just need league starts to thrive and progress into £30-40m assets within a couple of years. Sellars will nod so furiously he gets whiplash, club simps will lap it up on social media, and anybody that's dissenting won't be a real fan.

Barca are the club equivalent of those dickheads who come round to look at your car that you've advertised for £2k and spend hours walking round it, examining it for dents, kicking the tyres and offering you £200 and free use of a skip for a weekend.

I wouldn't deal with them again, wankers.

Don't you know? It's a sign of how far we've come apparently.

On a footballing level I don't know why he'd want to play for any of those PL teams

After seeing the three players we've signed from Barcelona, Real Madrid and AC Milan in the last four years, I think I'd prefer to go back to signing players off Plymouth, Scunthorpe and Grays...

I hadn't heard the word 'simp' until 2 weeks ago and this is the second time it's made me laugh.

They'll then sell them for £15m a pop, £5m upfront and tell us that we've made a substantial profit on them, forgetting that we handed over our best player for free in the process.

Trincao and Semedo are decent enough.

Poor Pat, I had really high hopes for him ☹️

I forgot Semedo! He's fine, just expensive. Like buying a "deluxe" ready meal from M&S, it's quite nice but no way worth the money.

Trincao is wank. More guts in a sausage roll.
I disagree, he's a good player just not built for the PL.

I think he'd have been much better under Nuno.

Hwang is wank.

Well for at least another season we’re in the PL so from our perspective he’s wank.

I think i'd be done with football if Neves goes to Newcastle.
Be careful for what you don`t wish for. Seriously though, they`ve got the money, just don`t think they could sell him the vision. I don`t think he`s in it for the money more than wanting some trophies/success he deserves.

Surely Neves wouldn't be interested in Newcastle, they might eventually challenges for honours but probably unlikely in Neves best years. Utd I could see being able to sell themselves to him given their potential, but depends if they ever get a coach who can sort out the shitfest there.

He has seen Jota move to LFC and nearly win the league but also get the cup medals and potentially the Champs League, I doubt he wants to be messing around with another project club.

I agree.

Any side with Matt Targett at full back isn’t troubling the top four any time soon.

If we were Newcastle fans we'd 100% be thinking we can get the best players from the likes of Wolves, Leicester, Palace etc because of the money and the project. I don't think that's Neves' style personally, but if we had any other proven players that still had scope for improvement they'd be ripe. Neto would be bang up their street if he'd proved himself post-injury I guess, but other than that we haven't really got anything of interest to a club with money and ambition

Think that somewhat misses the point. I doubt Targett, Wood and Burn will be in their first 11 in February, let alone in 2 years time. They recruited well in January to do what they needed to do with a manager who I didn't think was capable of it
