Summer 2022 Transfer Window

Don't mind him if he's nothing to do with Neto.

Hopefully they're not connected and if we did sell Neto we go after someone like Sarr.

Sounds like a very legit link but we want to pay 15m and they want 22m

6'7'' Austrian striker, you say?

He's not bad in fairness.

You constantly bring back everything about being a Wolves fan I've tried to repress 😅

got home from Golf, opened Bar switched SSN on and saw tge link, straight here for DW's take being the expert on all things Bundesliga, disappointed not to see any wise words from the Oracle...

I'd be very disappointed if we sold Neto. He's one of those players you should be building around IMO.

Plus you have to think of all those Wolves fans who called their Fantasy team Back of the Neto, we can't let them down now.

Looking at that fee I'd rather buy Ramos for 8m more.

Just checked actually and I backtrack he has played first team football etc.

That being said, I know little about either. Have people actually watched either of them or are we going off highlights/hunches/media comments?

The Austrian lad is an out-and-out CF, no? I fail to see how there's a direct correlation between signing him and selling Neto (unless you believe the club really is in "sell to buy" mode).

Potentially wanting to generate funds from a fairly well stocked area to
Improve an under stocked area would be a direct correlation, if that is the case

There will be no link between the 2 at all. If Arsenal meet Wolves demands (which should be high) for Neto he will go but we need the striker regardless. Lage has been talking about "we have attackers now we need strikers" way before this link between Neto and Arsenal.

If we sold Neto we'd then need to replace him. So I don't think the deal impacts that.

If we get offered 55-60m for Pedro I think we'd take it regardless. Be a shame as we have been robbed of a year of having him through a bad injury and he's been brilliant to watch in general for us.

Is it just me who thinks it would be an odd career move. Does Neto get in their best side?

No, but they've run Saka into the ground with the amounts of minutes they've played. Arteta going big on depth
