Summer 2022 Transfer Window

Just fucking stump up the £15m and get Brereton Diaz in. He’s got quarter of a season of regular starts in the top flight to tempt him now. Fucking get on with it.

What makes you think he'll be upto it? He's had one purple patch in his career which was last season. Whenever I've watched him he hasn't stood out, the history of the PL is absolutely littered with strikers who have consistently hit 25 in the championship and not been able to step up.

Not even sure he's any better than Cutrone personally.

If we sign a striker, whoever it is will come with an element of risk - be it age, stepping up from a lower level or coming from a different country. We are going to have to take a chance on somebody as we are not going to be paying the premium it costs to get players from other Premier League teams.

I thought the same about Bowen and he's really grown as a player.

Of course, I just don't really think Brereton will cut it as he doesn't have any outstanding attributes even at that level.

I agree, thought he lacked pace and didn't have the technical ability to overcome that, however at least he had multiple seasons of proven performance.

Italians .

How many Italians have ever come over to England and performed really well in the Premier League . Very few if any I think .

Ever time we hear of an Italian striker / midfielder who is free to move we begin to speculate . Waste of time - those lads like home , they don't like moving .

All Irish people eat potatoes, drink Guinness and spend all day saying to be sure to be sure whilst searching for a pot of gold

Cutrone was just garbage. Rubbish YouTube compilation for starters. Rubbish goal record bar a freak 6 months scoring some goals off his arse for one of the best teams in the country. Unsurprisingly
