Summer 2021 transfer window

Not looking good right now. We’re definitely light in midfield and will be at centre back in January and there are question marks against them all anyway even if Saiss and Kilman in particular have started the season well.

Still don’t get what Fosun’s plan is because they’re not making any money or really increasing their profile at the moment. Doesn’t make any sense. Still 3 hours to go.

Of course Shi is to blame, he's running the fucking club. So whatever combination of him, Sellars, scouting team, Mendes, fucking Vinny, whoever the fuck has fucked up the last 6 fucking windows it's Jeff fucking Shi's fucking fault. Fuckos.

This isn't like moaning about Shi because the hotdogs are shit. Player recruitment is the single most important factor to running a successful football club, and it's been fucking shit for three and a half years. Of course it's on Shi, he's the top dog. He's dismantled and recruited the entire leadership team for fucks sake
Has he? You know that? He individually did that?

Because I don't think he did.

I also don't think he's very good but these are separate arguments.

It is also impossible to not say all the above sentences in the voice of James Nesbitt.

I'll be very interested to see how Bruno answers questions about all this given his pretty consistent statements about what was needed over the past few days.

I know you've had it in for him for a very long time and I've never really managed to understand why. He's not the owner; we've no idea what his role is.

The fact we don't know that is a failure on the club's part, but I don't really understand the need to create a pariah out of someone who we know very little about when it's more than reasonable to just say "the club have fucked up".
What Rich said.

But he bought in Fabio......! (hides under the sofa).

Basically relying on a 34 to play most PL games until January and hoping no injuries occur in CM.
Reality is in the cup game v Spurs I’d be playing 2 U23 to save the CM for the league campaign.
Forward positions not so bad ad we look covered.

Basically puts Bruno in a position of don’t blame me blame the board for no backing scenario.

Well, I don't know it any more than I know that Bruno Lage picks the team, or Matt Perry signs the prescriptions, but he's at the top of the tree*. If we want to substitute the word 'Shi' for whatever Fosun executive takes our fancy, that's a semantic exercise I can't be arsed with. But at the end of the day some cunt/combination of cunts is performing utterly terribly.

*nominally? Supposedly?

The day Jeff sat in a room giving the impression he was the smartest one in it talking about generational talents is the day he stopped separating himself and the business side of football from the football part. If today goes the way it's looking he and his cabal of yes men deserve every ounce of shit coming their way.

Stan Cullis and the board in the sixties had a dreadful recruitment stance hence the decline towards relegation in the mid sixties when the double league / fa cup winning team broke up. We wouldn’t sign Scots and we wouldn’t sign Irish while Liverpool Man U Leeds Spurs and others hoovered up the market of world class players.
Ok, thanks for the correction. What I should have said then is if Stan Cullis was alive today he’d be dancing in his grave…

Do we have a "can be recalled" clause for MGW, er just in case?
