We’ve sacked a manager and replaced him with another one, with next to no recruitment process in place (I.e. Mendes said “take this guy” and Shi went “ok”).

We’ve then discovered that the new guy is actually alright, but whilst the football has been good, we’re still joint bottom of the table & we haven’t scored a goal after three games.

All the while, the new manager has been publicly stating he “wants two quality players for every position” and “I’m expecting 3-4 players. We know what to do”.

Yet here we are. If nothing happens in the next - what, 8 (?) hours or so, then it’s all on Jeff Shi and his recruitment ‘team’. We were unequivocally united with what we need to improve the squad - and it’s looking like we’ve failed miserably again. It’s all on Jeff Shi.

They’ve hung Bruno out to dry, as it stands, which is a joke.

Still plenty of time left in the day but if we don't get 2 deals over the line then it's not looking good. Mosquera may be the bollocks but we still need that centre half we've wanted since promotion and we need that extra midfielder. Hopefully they can get the deals done in the last few hours.
