Summer 2021 transfer window

Can't get overly excited with someone who has a record like his, but then we need another body in that area and we've followed him for a long, long time. Hopefully he settles in OK and gives us that second striker option we've been crying out for.

It does now mean we have Raul, Traore, Trincao, Silva, Podence, Hwang and Neto (when fit) to play across the front three. Plenty of options there who all offer something different.

He's quick and he can play wide or up top. That sorts the attack out now imo. CB and DM and I'll be delighted.

We've got 6 players for two wide positions now. We're a bit top heavy tbh.

Unless we're going to use Hwang up front with Raul in a two at some point.

Would perhaps add credence to the stories of Nuno falling out with the recruitment team over their recommendations if the club then went and signed someone he supposedly pulled the plug on.
Can they really really get back him and buy Tielemens?

Presumably MGW is the 6th option, who would then perhaps be focused more to central midfield or a possible attacking midfield spot if the formation is tweaked.

Seems to me the plan is 4231, which is probably why we are in for Kang in Lee. Meaning we have 5 fit options who can play across the 3 behind the striker and Adama who can play either side.

If they're all ours and fit and ready I'd agree, but with Raul and Pod only just coming back, Trincao being a loan, Neto missing the bulk of the season and Silva being so young it's not too bad at this moment imo

Hwang is a risk because he's obviously gone to Germany twice and not really hit the heights people thought he would but he fits in to the system as he can play wide or down the middle and will be suited to how we now press. Hopefully he can settle over here and hit the ground running.
