Summer 2021 transfer window

If nothing else this has been really interesting to see the dynamic on the forum changing!

Kubler-Ross in action!

How much more respect (shorthand for uncritical adoration?) for the new Spurs manager are you guys demanding from the rest of us??

Even for the best Wolves managers and players in our history there has to be some balance in how we appraise them.
Not asking you to do anything you don't want to. If people try to justify this move to themselves by bemoaning the football and saying "what has Nuno actually won" - then I am going to point out I think that's disengeious the 2nd part, especially where this is a forum where some people are saying they would accept 10th-12th from Lage.

It's bullshit, but in the 0.1% chance of it being accurate, then I think there'd be a convoy offering to drive

In the other universe that it's true, yeah you'd think that much money for those two the club would jump at. Only problem is we would then need two new centre backs (and I love Boly).

That's not really what happened though. It's just been given a bit of spin to make out that we're all ungrateful and think Nuno was shite.

It was stated that Lage has an 'objectively worse record' than Nuno, someone (quite politely actually) pointed out that actually he's won a major trophy and Nuno hasn't. I would say that trophies form part of a managers record? So surely worth consideration?

Bloody hell, if that does happen we are razing everything to the ground!

Not sure why anyone would want so much change, it wasn't **that** bad in the first place (although with each day that passes the revisionism increases.)

I think it would be for the good of this forum if people stopped posting tweets from Pedro Almeida. Complete clickbait seeking bullshit artist.
Why ? It's quite funny to read the outbursts of anger regarding something that is obviously not true :)

Guehi to Palace for between 15-20m. We probably need a more experienced defender as we have already signed Mosquera but at that price I would have been very tempted.

Is it hell! Unless Sa is a Sunday league keeper then it’s decent business given Patricio decline in the last 18 months , the fact his contract runs out next year and he is 33. Unless you can categorically state Sa is Andrew Lonergan I am not having it. Sorry mate.
My apologies, for I know not who Andrew Lonergan is.

From a business point of view, what you say may make sense. But Patricio is still leagues better than Sá. The fact that Patrício is still the Portugal National Team main keeper while Sá was not even in the team for the Euro should be sufficient.

José Sá played for Porto a few years back, while they managed to win the the title, his performance was a bit lackluster. If I'm not mistaken, he had a couple clean sheets for Porto, having suffered 20 goals in 21 games. That's playing for Porto, in the Portuguese league. With a solid defence in front of him against much inferior teams.

I didn't follow his time in Olympiakos, but that culminated with him falling out of the national team as well, eventually. So it can't be that good. Being champions for Olympiakos is not that much of a feat either, as they're the Greek champions by default, only failing to gain the title when they massively screw up.

Thats fine. I will judge him on his performances here. Like I did Patricio.

Appreciate the insight, but is that the same Porto that Nuno managed and won no silverware for?
