Summer 2020 Transfer Window (Extended Version)

As CR7 might not even be there come the start of the season it's hardly relevant.

So much 2 + 2 = 5 bullshit from the media outlets because "players will want to leave Wolves because of no Europe". We didn't have Europe when they signed and they joined for "the project" and Nuno

This pretty much lots of if, if, if and but, but from so called media outlets. Even if missing out European did discourage some players we're still a more attractive proposition than about 12 clubs in the league.

Is Cutrone moving permanently? We’ll have the cash from him as well.

It sounded like the obligation only kicks in at the end of the loan...so would probably go through on 1st July next year (assuming the football calendar returns to normal)

He joins them next July but there is a clause that he reaches certain amount of appearances before July 2021, then he transfer becomes permanent then. No one has been told how many games that is though

Excellent, can see that being the new Dendocker ambigious thing that winds me up, when people kept saying is he on loan, do we have an obligation, was already signed etc!

On his and Oatley's podcast, Spiers casually mentioned that this could go through soon, which I guess means he's not far away from or already has triggered the amount of appearances

Joey E&S confirming the promotion bonus from the sales of Helda and Cav. Makes it £41m for the pair and in terms of just transfer fees, that is a £21m profit
Any idea how that £41 million is broken down between the two players?

Leeds are paying us around £5m a year for the duration of his four year contract, Spiers claims

Well the whole fee is front loaded as income in our books but Leeds outstanding amounts appear in debtors as well which is reduced as they make payments.

I know it's been mentioned on here before but Valencia are having a fire sale. Peter Lim has gone completely fucking mental. They've literally just given Dani Parejo to Villarreal for free. Everyone apart from Gaya & Soler on the transfer list.

Valencia are obviously a Mendes club, could see a few moving our way this summer.

Seems Valencia are very skint. Can't pay the wages right now and offering players IOU's apparently

:icon_lol:

But yeah, you'd think we might try to take advantage. Can we have Rodrigo? :D

Diakhaby and Correia might be more realistic though.

BBC saying we rejected a cash + Aaron Ramsey offer from Juve for Raúl.

Sent from my GM1920 using Tapatalk

Well Ramsey earns around £300k a week at Juve. It would be some paycut for him

Forget the Raul bit, but if we could get Ramsey we absolutely should

We should be looking for that type of midfielder but not Ramsey himself, he's 29 and on mega money.

Has he been injured quite a bit at Juve? Doesn't seem to have played all that much from the games I've seen.

If fit he'd be a good option for a year on loan if Juve were willing to heavily subsidise his wages.

Yeah he's also had various injury issues over the years.

A loan in that sense isn't a terrible shout but I'd rather sign someone fitter, and younger. I'm still on the Josh Dasilva bandwagon, but he is "unproven" I guess.
