Summer 2020 Transfer Window (Extended Version)

In the window's least exciting news Min Yang Yang has joined Grasshoppers.

I didn't realise he was 25 now :icon_lol:

Joey E&S confirming the promotion bonus from the sales of Helda and Cav. Makes it £41m for the pair and in terms of just transfer fees, that is a £21m profit

Effectively upgraded them with Neto & Podence and still saved £10M.

Crazy business.

Edit: so with my very limited understanding of football finance, it looks like we have £22m coming in from the Europa League - and £40m (+ bonuses) from the sale of Cav & Costa. Add that to the £142m PL money and we have around £200m coming in?

Sky saying Juve have renewed interest in Jiminez, among other players.

Sky desperate to remain credible, if they ever were

Fairly sure Sky had an article on their website yesterday linking Juve to a load of forwards, of which Raul was one. Has anyone actually found some direct quotes from CR7 saying he wants Raul there as his strike partner? Or was that just a load of bollocks?

Edit: just found it. They are linking Juve to Lacazette, Raul, Zapata, Morata, Milik & Dzeko.

A packet of skips to add to the dosh pile.

Stop dissing the Nozzer

obviously we also have to take into account the loss of revenue from no fans, advertising etc. No idea what our figure will be but Man Utd reckon £5m minimum per game for them on that front. We know we don't get close to what Utd get but spread across the amount of games behind closed doors and its still a hefty loss

SSN has had its day now if you have access to twitter and reliable journalists you'll find out info very quickly before the ticker at the bottom of their screen becomes yellow.

As CR7 might not even be there come the start of the season it's hardly relevant.

So much 2 + 2 = 5 bullshit from the media outlets because "players will want to leave Wolves because of no Europe". We didn't have Europe when they signed and they joined for "the project" and Nuno

Sunderland have failed to reach an agreement with Wolves to sign goalkeeper Matija Sarkic on loan. [source: Northern Echo]

So either can no longer afford the % of wages due to the cap or refusing to make him 1st choice.
