I'm hoping it's a kick up the arse that's needed from Nuno to Thelwell.

I don't think we can afford to fail as we'll lose the best manager outside the top 4.

Not our style really, 30 in November, high wages, poor recent injury record. Wouldn't want him as a LWB and as I've said before, if we buy another CM then principally they have to be offering genuine attacking/goal threat from open play as that's the one thing we lack in that area. Delph isn't going to give you that.

Watford wanted more than PSG would pay (€35k) I think.
His bad attitude has mainly been wanting to leave Watford to play in the Champions League I believe.
He's French. If he didn't have an attitude it would be unusual.

To be fair, I’d rather have Tielemans or Fornals - but I’d also rather have Delph over Joao Mario.

I guess we’ll know in a couple of weeks where our ambitions stand compared to the clubs in & around us.
