To me it's tantamount to him saying we (The fans) have to be patient, they know they need more quality players but it isn't easy to get the ones they want. Nothing most folk didn't already realise. Yes it's taking it's time and we want to see new signings but we can't expect them to happen fast.

Saw a random Spanish twitter say we'd inquired about Lemar. If that's the level of player we're aiming at (and although there's a decent chance it's complete b.s. it would at least fit with previously stated aims) then no wonder its taking some time
