Higgins v Lisowski right now is going to a nail bitting end. Lisowski only just pulled ahead for the first time in a long time, if maybe the game - only tuned in tonight.
Thought Higgins was on for a come back yesterday morning after the first frame but it wasn't to be. Missed the Williams come back but took it to tgeast frame which was some achievement.
Despite being as mad as a box of frogs and attracting the snooker equivalents of the 'Come on Tim' I do enjoy watching O'Sullivan play
Not just a snooker great, but an all time sporting great. Ridiculously talented, would have dominated the way people such as Phelps, Taylor, Federer dominated if he didn't have his issues.
The 2022 World Champion has played the 1948 World Champion (also runner up in 1940) in a competitive match.
It probably isn't great for the game that Ronnie, Williams and Higgins are still amongst the favourites for every major trophy. Brilliant on their part, I wouldn't want any of them to quit, but it underlines how the generation below haven't stepped up. Not consistently anyway.
i only watched bits and pieces of the snooker given it can be very boring.
was ill on friday and as a result was lucky enough to be sat in front of the tv to see mark williams come back on trump from 5-12 to 11-13.
brilliant session which he continued into the final one and only ended up losing after trump took the last 2 frames.
the bits i saw of ronnie he looked totally in the mood and at his best. the cue ball control is just ridiculous at times. totally deserved win.
Bit of a story developing concerning match fixing again. Five Chinese players have been suspended from the tour last week, and now today Jan Bingtao has been suspended.
WPBSA Chairman Jason Ferguson has taken the decision to suspend Yan Bingtao from attending or competing on the World Snooker Tour with immediate effect. This [...]

Apparently Chang Bingyu released a statement on his suspension saying that Liang Wenbo threatened and coerced him into fixing his match against Jamie Jones at the British Open. Wenbo was apparently one of the Chinese players suspended as well (separate from his two suspensions for domestic assault and misconduct previously!).
Worrying for the sport if true. Wenbo sounds like a right c*nt.
I may be in a minority of one here but taking the piss out of the colour of peoples hair is in my opinion, poor form. If you have seen the suffering children go through, being teased throughout their school years and beyond just because of the colour of hair that they were born with then you may be a bit more sympathetic.
Only the third one I've ever seen live, absolutely stunning. I don't think there's a more impressive individual achievement in sport, but to do it on that stage is just unbelievable
