I don't expect there to be any changes. N'Diaye and Costa aren't currently doing enough in the limited time they're getting to demand a starting berth, the defence aren't conceding and everything else looks after itself.

Wednesday may as well not bother turning up. We're a bogey team.

2016/17: L 0-2 (H), D 0-0 (A)
2015/16: W 2-1 (H), L 1-4 (A)
2014/15: W 3-0 (H), W 1-0 (A)
2012/13: W 1-0 (H), D 0-0 (A)
2008/9: W 4-1 (H), W 1-0 (A)
2007/8: W 2-1 (H), W 3-1 (A)
2006/7: D 2-2 (H), D 2-2 (A)
2005/6: L 1-3 (H), W 2-0 (A)
2002/3: D 2-2 (H), W 4-0 (A)
2001/2: D 0-0 (H), D 2-2 (A)
2000/1: D 1-1 (H), W 1-0 (A)
1999/0: D 1-1 (A, FAC), D 0-0 (H, FAC, lost on pens)
1994/5: D 0-0 (A, FAC), D 1-1 (H, FAC, won on pens)

Yep, same team. If we seem off the pace for the third match in a row, then we'll probably make a change. But not before then.

Looking forward to this as i think it's a game that should suit us. Wednesday have to win and that will play in to our hands as it will leave spaces. From what i have seen of them they aren't very good at the back and while they have dangers up to we should have too much for them.

Wednesday's squad in the 3-1 loss to Norwich:

Westwood
Palmer - Loovens - van Aken - Fox
Wallace - Jones - Bannan - Reach
Hooper - Rhodes

Subs: Lee, Nuhiu, Pudil, Venancio, Joao, Wildsmith, Butterfield

Nothing there worries me. If Carvalhal thinks playing Bannan in a midfield two is a good idea then he's nuts.

A midfield riddled with pace.

Carvahal is on borrowed time I think, after watching them yesterday they were very poor. Norwich hadn't won at home since September but it was rather easy for them, particularly in the second half. Pritchard and Maddison caused them quite a few problems with direct running.

That 4-1 defeat was one of my worst times living in Sheffield, I could really do with us destroying them. Not going to the game as once again far too close to xmas to justify the price.

I thought we were going to sack Ken after that. Our defending was all kinds of bad. Pretty sure I ripped into him for playing Doherty at left back in that one :icon_lol: I'd have been apoplectic if I'd known that "experiment" was going to last 18 months...

What I didn't know at the time was that there were already early overtures from Fosun about a takeover and so it became a case of just don't get relegated, whatever you do.

Edit: Bonus, I found it:

Been out for the day. Just caught up with the goals.

Once again, the defending:

We are getting everything wrong at the back at the moment. Crap lines playing people onside, terrible individual errors, ultra shaky keeper, letting the ball bounce in the area, the lot. EEL is an absolute disaster zone. Added to which, who'd have thought that after the debacle that was Thursday that bringing in possibly the worst defender in the league, definitely one of the worst players Wolves have had in the last 20 years, and playing him out of position would not improve things?! Crazy selection once again.

As was Henry in behind Afobe, I have listened to his reasoning on both calls and none of it makes any sense. He's started wittering on about "power" for some reason, I genuinely don't understand what he's going on about. That's got nothing to do with why we're leaking goals. If he wanted to stick with this system from an attacking point of view and had finally come to his senses regarding Edwards' lack of anything, why not play the bloke HE signed who plays that position? But no, we'll stick a severely out of form winger there.

10 points from 12 games. Relegation form. Got to go as we are getting worse, not better. So many truly unacceptable displays this season.

I'd forgotten all about his "power" talk. That's when it started. Then we signed Joe Mason a month later.

The power stuff was when I gave up on KJ. Just made no sense at all and was totally st odds with what he had been preaching for the two years before that

Reading that back it's almost impossible to believe that KJ was still here six months later.

It’s our work Christmas party on Friday night so I’ll be recording it and watching it Saturday morning (while hungover).

Can’t see any changes to the starting 11 if I’m honest.

You would expect Wolves to have massive control over a game if opponents set up with a basic 4-4-2.

Wednesday players could be worried about getting a potential hammering friday, which will play into our hands even more if they're ultra cautious. Their form isn't good. Don't fancy them to score against us. A lot will depend on how soon we get our first goal.

£69 for two tickets with booking fees. Bargain.

It is quite a lot of money around this time of year but i'm disappointed we haven't sold many. We hadn't sold 1000 on Friday from an allocation of just over 3000. I know it's on tv and a Friday night but thought we would sell more than we have.
