I think the prices, plus time of year and being on tv, plus us being historically overcharged by them puts a lot of people off.
The weather is a fortunate coincidence/justification for a lot of people.
Generally we have a really good away following.

I really hope someone makes a "Twenty's Plenty" banner or some Bayern Munich type protest....(but we wont)

It's only about an hour from me and I love going to away game but like fuck am I giving them over £30 for a game on a Friday night that's live on Sky! (Robbing bastards)

Oh i know, i get there are a lot of circumstances that don't make this game one that people want to go to but we are playing such good football i thought we would at least get a couple of thousand going.

I said i wouldn't do this game purely because they are robbing bastards but i can't help but want to watch this side live and that took over.

I just don't have the mentality for that, £33 for a ticket, doesn't look like there are any viable trains back and even if there were it's £45 or so for a return, chuck on £20-30 for food and drink...all for a game that's on TV, on a Friday night in the middle of December. We're playing at home a whole eight days later if I were that desperate for my fix. Chucking money away.

You can't be buried with it can you? Off to Millwall on boxing day and Bristol City too. Like i said i wouldn't usually go to the games on principle where they are charging a fortune just like Bristol City are doing as well but can't help myself this season.

Each to their own and all that but you can't really rip the fans and call it "disappointing" when that's the outlay, even if you knock the last bit off and literally just go straight to the ground and back (which isn't even possible if you're travelling by train, as I say).

A lot of fans give it massive though about our away followings and yes they are generally decent so it is a little disappointing that we have only sold a third of our allocation. Saying it's disappointing is hardly ripping in to fans and as i've said i understand the reasons for not going.

Out of my lot there are just three going whereas on a Saturday it would be fifteen easily. People are at work and most (including me) have used up their annual leave so unable to book the day off. Plus it'll be freezing, plus it's this close to Christmas.

I have a £30 rule which I refuse to break, it's a shame as I used to go to Wednesday year in year out, outside of St Andrews and Pride Park I've probably seen Wolves play away there more than anywhere else but I'm not paying that. I'm also not going to Bristol for the same reason.

Lots of Xmas work do’s this Friday too.

Same sentiment from me. I'd have gone it it was on the Saturday as I have a few mates who live in Sheffield and would have had a catch up. But I'll spend my £33 on an all-dayer before the Ipswich game now.

Wouldn't be able to do this without staying over (can't even at home for an evening kick off) - at that price they can whistle

Douglas out for this game with an injury he picked up v Sunderland

Someone - HITC possibly - reports it is a "huge blow for Nuno." Obviously never seen Vinagre play

Vinagre instead of Douglas is not really a downgrade at all - bring different talents, but that is all

Really weird to have 2 in that position who can perform
