Interesting stats re GON - his overall record in the 63 games was won 20, drew 11 and lost 32 (I'll let Dan fill in the goals scored and conceded).
He had a purple patch for 5 months from the 2-1 win vs Man City on Sept 30th, 2023 to the 2-1 win vs Fulham on Mar 9th, 2024 encompassing 27 games where we won 14, drew 5 and lost 8 - that's a Nuno like streak but as he all tend to acknowledge it was more on the back of the individual brilliance of a few players rather than GON's tactical genius.
Backing out that 5 month period you have 36 games (6 games prior to Man City and 30 post Fulham) which read won 6, drew 6 and lost 24 - that is simply an appalling run of results.
I glad GON is gone !
As for Vitor Pereira, it's a punt but under GON we were definitely being relegated, under Pereira we have a slim chance - a risk worth taking.
