It’s happening: I’m missing the BBC highlights show and losing touch with the narrative of the league already. I know they’re not for the connoisseur but they serve a purpose for building a wider audience who might rarely want or able to sit through a full match. Similar happened with the NFL for me too.

Magic weekend starts here tomorrow night. Entire round of fixtures played over a few nights at Suncorp stadium in Brisbane.

Stupid that one of the matches is Broncos away at Manly but now being played in the Broncos home stadium. Surely swap the home and away ties if that match up at the start of the season as this seems very unfair on Manly.
