Rob Edwards - the prodigal son returns

It seems that Adi Viveash will stay at Boro but RE is bringing Harry Watling with him

Watling is 35 years old with no professional playing career and has managed Hartford Athletic and Ebbsfleet. Looking at the Boro forum it seems Watling wasn't very popular with the playing staff

The Boro fans I was speaking to at work felt Viveash was the one they really needed to keep hold of.

They rate him really highly.

Yeah, he'll probably turn out to be the Beale to Edward's Gerrard knowing our luck (that analogy not as strong as it would have been a couple of years ago!)

Speaking of Beale, Watling worked under him at QPR and Rangers

Would be somewhat amusing if O'Neil gets the Boro job and takes them up whilst Edwards takes us down.

O'Neil is near the top of the odds for the Southampton and Norwich jobs

Yeah Watling has a bit of a reputation for being a bit up himself from what I’ve heard..
