Rob Edwards - the prodigal son returns

Told he had to use the Academy staff. He's terrible at picking the right job after an unjust sacking

I very much doubt he gives a fuck.

Nuno is probably £20m richer than the bloke we sacked a few years ago.

Good luck to him. I’m sure he’ll be hoping he’s out that shit hole West Ham in a few days - with yet another few million quid in his sky rocket.

If he was only interested in money he'd have left us for Everton after 6 months

Did Nuno blank Edwards or did he just go straight down the tunnel in a huff? I think he knows he'll be out the door soon. As TT says he's poor at picking jobs.
If he went down the tunnel in a huff without shaking RE’s hand, that’s poor from Nuno, much as I love the guy. Yes West Ham were shit. Yes, he’ll have been angry with the performance & result. But you’re at your old club - you know how shit this seasons been for us & we’ve obviously been waiting months & months for a win. Shake the opposition managers hand and then go down the tunnel.

As I say, poor from him. I wasn’t quite sure if there was more at play.

Personally, I wasn't bothered when Nuno didn't shake Pulis or Warnock's hand and I'm not bothered now.

We also don't know if Nuno didn't go and see Edwards and share a drink with him after the game, it's just more performative bollocks.

It was the first talking point the panel discussed after the game, showed footage of him heading directly to the tunnel as soon as ref blew for FT.

Must hurt to be the first manager to lose to this Wolves side this season, add to that his role is precarious and also at the home of a club where he is still revered. Nuno must have been hurting big time and his pride took a battering too

The Irish Times;

Nuno added he meant no disrespect to his opposite number, Rob Edwards, by heading quickly for the dressing room.

“I’ve known Robert for many, many years. I have huge respect for him.”

Edwards also downplayed the situation as he celebrated his first win in nine games as Wolves boss, the club’s first in league competition since last April.

“I’ve seen him now,” Edwards said in his post-match press conference. “We shook hands, so that’s all cool.”
