Rio 2016

Bronze in the judo.

Looking like gold could be on in the fancy jumping into a swamp. Where the most biased commentator on earth seems to be calling "our boys" home.

He's great :icon_lol:

I've not got a clue what's happening but hope our boys can jump in the swamp better than the other chaps.

Farcical scenes in the swamp jumping. Mexico want to jump again as somebody put a penny in the meter and the floodlights came on.

At least silver for our swampies. China need to get a monster score to pip us to gold. Which they could yet do.

I think.

Yorkshire and Berkshire break the golden Staffs monopoly.

Top bombing!

Germany struggling in the football against Fiji!

Wonderful Wednesday. Can Whitlock keep it going.

Getting a medal in this would be pretty incredible. The standard is superbly high.

Gymnastics - again, I've not got a clue how it works but its impossible not to be impressed with the displays.

I hope Max Whitlock can finish in the top 3.

Gymnastics on the telly, and then I think the rugby sevens on the laptop.

Japan into the semi-finals after dumping France out, which is rather amusing.

So many sports - so little I understand about what is going on half the time

Still, can get excited when our lot are involved in the final stages

Pretty much the same as me!

Really looking forward to the track and field stuff but it's still exciting to see the GB athletes competing for medals in events I otherwise would never watch.

I am ashamed to admit I do not know anything about most of the British athletes on display during the last few days. And that is wrong, these men and women have worked so hard to be where they are, and deserve more recognition. Anyway many congratulations to those that have won medals.

Mens Rugby 7's have extra time against Argentina, first score wins. Argentina missed a drop goal the last kick to go through to the semi finals.

Try GB and they are through to the semi finals against either South Africa or Australia.
