Incredible after his performances last season to think most of us would rather see Hwang playing than Podence and Traore. At least he tries even if he isn’t very good.I know we sort of occasionally say we might offer Adama a new deal, but I seriously doubt we will. Not in any serious way at any rate. We might say you can stay for a year on your existing wage (which of course thanks to Great British Inflation, is worth a lot less than when he signed that contract in 2018). Some idiot will pay him more elsewhere and get all the "thrills" we get out of him. Enjoy.
Podence struggles to stay fit, can't put a run of performances together and doesn't seem to be much of a Lopetegui favourite. One year left on his contract. I think he'll go for any eight figure bid from anyone.
Costa 100% won't be here and if we can find a North American team who are willing to pay Raul (again, one year left) enough to persuade him to go, then it'll be curtains for him too, with the heartiest of thanks for all the good times.
I don't think Hwang will find a taker, I also don't think he'll play much if/when he stays.
Chiquinho back in the mix next season and Julen will have a decision to make on Fabio, which to me should extend to keep or sell. Not another loan or loans.
I'd have him in the baggies team to confirm there failure, before needing us to lose.Hwang could possibly be one of the fundamentally least talented players I can remember seeing at this level but right now I'd have him in the team ahead of Podence 99 times out of 100. The exception might be a game where if we lost it would condemn WBA to a 1000 years of playing in the Birmingham League Division 3. I'd play him then.
Was discussing this today. Think 3 wins 3 draws will do. But only if we aren’t losing to the fellow strugglers. Can’t afford to be losing to Leeds and Everton or Forest away.If we win four of those (shouldn't be beyond us) then that alone gives us 36 points, which I think would be enough.
Leicester away is probably a better target for points than Forest away. Was discussing this today. Think 3 wins 3 draws will do. But only if we aren’t losing to the fellow strugglers. Can’t afford to be losing to Leeds and Everton or Forest away.
I still have it my head that Leicester are decent and they will get better. Doesn’t seem to be happening though… or certainly not consistently.Leicester away is probably a better target for points than Forest away.
Forest are 9th in the home table (19 from 12), Leicester are 19th (12 from 12). In the current actual table we're all next to each other too.
Oh God, yeah on Forest.I still have it my head that Leicester are decent and they will get better. Doesn’t seem to be happening though… or certainly not consistently.
Forest are just diabolical though. They are Bruno Lage’s Wolves. They have no right to have as many points as they do. Hoping the balance will be restored ASAP.
Eveytime I've seen them, they remind me of the Bournemouth game, seem to pick up points when they deserved nothing. Handy trait to have though, hopefully their luck changes soon.Oh God, yeah on Forest.
I haven't watched one of their games this season and thought "they played quite well there".
We should be targeting both for points really. Leicester are rock bottom on confidence and are playing shit. Forest just are shit.Leicester away is probably a better target for points than Forest away.
