Relegation run in 22/23 ** Now a Wolves free zone**

He spent a large part of the last 2 seasons with us injured, this will be a 3rd. Him leaving was the right thing as it was for Coady and Saiss, the failed recruitment in that area is a seperate issue. Two things can be true (not saying you don't know that obviously)

It's been said before, but I agree with the view that Jeff tried to purge the dressing room of big characters because of their attitide towards Lage, rather than Lage wanting them out

Now it looks like it wouldn't be at our expense I regretfully hope they stay up. £8m isn't to be sniffed at
£8m extra for MGW translates in FFP terms to the first year of a £40m player with a 5 year contract, or 2 players at £20m.

Yeah, wages, but still, not to be sniffed at.

I think it's 5 for MGW and 3 for Boly or thereabouts. Another 2 for MGW next year if they stay up after that it goes to the unrealistic

We earn a lot more by surviving. Not that I think it will be an issue hopefully

I suspect it will be Southampton and Bournemouth plus one other team that get relegated. Whilst I have no love for Forest I’d far rather Everton or Leeds went down, especially if it nets us £8m.

I love to hate Forest. As funny as it'd be to watch them get relegated I'd much rather be in the same league as them and take 6 points off them like we will this season than have them pissing around in the lower leagues. Same with Villa.

Albion, Bolton & Blues can stay down there and fucking rot.

I must be an outlier, got a soft spot for Forest, probably down to 'little old Nottingham' winning the league and European Cup
Whereas I still hate dirty Leeds. I should probably stop being so Jethro Tull.
I don't really care too much who goes as long as its not us but if I had to name 3 it would probably be Leeds, Everton and West Ham.

I see what you did there, bravo Sir 👏

Can't Bournemouth just get relegated 3 times?

Having lived in Nottingham for 15 years I've never really minded them.

Until this season...same as Lycan they can stay up this season so that we can take the points needed to get into the top 4 next year from them.

Anybody but us imo but would like to see Leeds go simply because of their “don’t you know who we’re” attitude of their fan base.

I'm conflicted on this type of thing. On the one hand I'd like Leeds, Everton and West Ham to go for the schadenfreude, but a matchday atmosphere is normally better and more interesting against a big club like that than Palace, Bournemouth, Southampton or a few other clubs in the PL who aren't at risk of going down

That's a fair point, still want Leeds to go though.
