REFERENDUM RESULTS AND DISCUSSION THREAD

Here is one for you, how many immigrants have come to the UK, who were from other EU'S colonies, but refuse to live in the countries that colonised them.
Brazilians for example who have gained Portuguese nationality, but their are many other countries.

Oh I do like a good quiz. I miss the ones that Deutsch used to do.

Is it 85431?

37.

As UK has the largest number of ex-colonies of any EU country I fail to see the point.

Our ex-empire status hardly results in 300 million Americans, 20 million Australians, 200 million Pakistanis or 1.2 billion Indians all pitching up to get the UK passport before fucking off to Spain does it?

Can I ask a question please. When the UK finally stops contributing to the EU budget will the EU be able to afford to pay Olive growers not to harvest their crop?

How many people from our colonies do you think prefer to live in other EU countries, than living in the UK.
If the EU was a level playing field, there would be no reason for it's citizens to leave their countries. It isn't though and after spunking hundreds of billions up the wall, the gap is bigger than ever. So not only EU nationals have to leave their home and families, but we also have to have the burden of high amounts of immigration from colonies of EU countries.
Never mind, no benifit to the low paid, but someone to serve your cocktails.

How is the EU supposed to level the playing field? Force Audi and BMW to move to Romania and Poland because it's unfair that Germany have all those car firms?

"No reason for citizens to leave their countries" - what a wonderful world that would be. Everyone stay where you were born.

For about the millionth time also, non EU migration is higher than from within the EU, regardless of whether they are from colonies or not. Immigration is not going to go down dramatically once we've left the EU, so who will you blame then for the "burden of high amounts of immigration?"

Why do I bother posting if people just go back to the same old crap? Do you want debate? If so please someone comment on my earlier researched posts. Or do you all agree with my conclusion that freedom of movement only works where the wage makes it attractive for people of both countries to cross borders for work rather than a one way street. I am happy if someone can explain the benefits of me going to work in Romania for a fifth of my current wage. Please do

Sadly your well written posts get swamped by the same old bollocks from THM that has been gone over ad nauseum.
