You won the vote, you must have a huuuuuuge hard on, but now can you post a fact instead of this imaginary new world you hope to live in.

Paddy didn't ask for facts. He asked us what we would like to achieve!

Precisely my thoughts. My idea is to see what the ideals that everyone is looking for from this negotiation are. Try and make them realistic obvs, but otherwise just go for it.

My only ideal was to put power back in our hands and away from the Corporations.

Brexit is not going to mean any form of Utopia any time soon but the basis of anything should be the redistribution of wealth.

It would be virtually impossible to renationalise the Utilities but education and the health service should be costed to meet demand and funded as such before anything else. Reduce spending on weapons, no tax for those who earn under a certain amount and super tax individuals and corporation whose wealth exceeds a certain amount.

That's a start.

Thanks. Hopefully we get some more contributions and then I will type them all up into a post and see how it looks. Then everyone can debate the fuck out of that post which should prevent sniping at the poster and encourage discussion of the points.

You never know...

The division is democracy and immigration. It always was - pages of it.

Would imagine there will be consensus on points going forward.

Are you cynical enough to suggest the 'money men' will make a killing on brexit ..
Nasty man ..

Had a letter from he Merchant Bank that does my asset management the day after the referendum telling me not to panic, guess they were right.
#fuckingBlairite!

But each individual pound in that portfolio is worth about 18 per cent less than it was...

I would like to see: the total break up of the European union enabling Ireland to offer manufacturing industries great incentives to set up businesses here. Plenty of labour available. Great road network. Well positioned between Europe and USA.
Incentives for traditional industries such as farming and fishing - Loads of land and water.
Freedom of movement of people provided they want to work.
Border between Ireland and UK as is.
Closer ties between Ireland and UK. Including military and policing.

I've also had a similar couple of letters off mine too. Not checked my portfolio yet though. Perhaps I should! I just assumed I'd lose a bit in the short term, though mine are spread far and wide not just UK.

Why is prime minister written without capitalisation of the P and M?

Farage is quitting as UKIP leader, again. New Tory PM maybe :D

Farage gone. I just adore this 'create a mess and walk away from the aftermath' approach to politics. Treating it as if it's a game, it sickens me.

Farage's work is done though. He was never going to be involved in any of the clean up afterwards, with the exception of attending a summit and insulting the other delegates.

Does he remain as an MEP?

For two years. Gotta keep dem expenses...
