REFERENDUM RESULTS AND DISCUSSION THREAD

He has to be able to call it first...
If the extension is agreed, I don't see how Labour can't go for it without just looking scared, it would contradict everything they have already said
Farage will hopefully fuck him right up.
Depends on how hard a Brexit he puts in his manifesto. I can see Farage damaging Labour more. My constiuency would undoubtedly go blue with Farage taking a lot of the Labour Brexiters

Johnson will undoubtedly promote his deal in an election- that's the whole point of him pursuing it.

Although many Labour constituencies went Brexit, most of the Labour voters didn't- Farage would be scraping off the Tories and UKIP, by and large.

They might let Swinson keep her constituency. They will win everything else north of the border. Think there are a few labour Scottish MPs and maybe 8 Conservatives at risk.

BGreenwolf makes a really interesting point about the party make-up of voters who went Remain or Leave in the referendum. We are going to see how that pans out in a general election if the blond clown gets to throw his toys out of the pram.

30% of people who voted for Labour in 2017, voted for leave in the referendum.

In 2017 the UKIP vote collapsed because on the face of things what was a single issue Party had delivered its goal. It would be fair to assume a decent proportion of that 30% would flip to Farage's lot in a GE which essentially would become about a single issue. Won't make a difference in Sunderland, Barnsley, Stoke etc, but it will in other marginals including mine.

As long as he loses the next one then his victory has been pyrrhic at best.
Be a bit like our celebrations when Raul scored just before ht on Saturday...

Should lose but wouldnt be a surprise if he won though

Im sorry but most labour voters aren't going to suddenly like Farage. He is anathema to everything they have ever believed.

I want a tie, and then Bercow to give a casting vote to fuck up Boris' little plan. That would be MAJESTIC.
